I want a few new classes, how about you?
The classes I want
There are many potential ideas and concepts, so here's a few:
Thief:
-Hitting an enemy has a (level*2+stealth*3)% chance to drop (level+stealth*depth^2) coins and a [level*stealth/(depth+strength requirement of the item)]% chance to steal an item.
-Starts with a ring of haggler
-Starts with a dagger
-Thieves are less proficient with stolen items. (As they're new to that item)
-They start with 15 health
-Potions of invisibility are identified from the start
-For 250 coins per shop tier, can restock the shop and have new random items inside to buy
Basically, this class is about stealth and taking advantage of getting random items and money.
Subclasses:
Crazy Bandit: Adds a 30% chance to blind enemies on hit. -1.5 times faster in speed and attack -Double stealth
Mafia Boss: Doubles chance to steal and doubles money stolen. When you get hit, there's a (level*current gold/500)% chance to summon a Level 10 Hitman (15 health, loses one per turn. 5 range. 5 damage. 0.5 turns per attack) to protect you every 30 turns.
Epic Armor:
If you're a Crazy Bandit, the armor becomes Thieve's Robes.
Thieve's Robes: Having it gives you access to Mass Distraction: Give every enemy in the room Vertigo for 30 turns.
If you're the Mafia Boss, the armor becomes Business suit.
Business Suit:
Having it gives access to Mafia Mob: Summon 10 Level 10 Hitmen in random locations of the room.
Tell me what you think of this idea! Say Thief ++ If you like it, or Thief -- If you don't, then tell me why you think that way about it.
P.S. you must beat 100 crazy thieves and 10 crazy bandits to unlock.
Allstar:
-Starts with 20 health.
-Begins with an extra ration of food and a Scroll of Remove Curse.
-Has Scroll of Remove Curse identified from the start.
-Moderately proficient in everything.
-Starts with a unique, upgradable Pouch of Necessities (5 damage. 1 usetime. 75% accuracy) that can be used to throw a weak, non-reusable dart and can be used to heal 50% of max health after collecting 10 dew drops. (Takes 10 turns)
-Starts with a Trainee's Wand (3 damage. 1 usetime. 2 charges, 1/5 turns)
-Has a unique Ring of Shadows that, until it's upgraded, does nothing.
This would be the most average class ever in the game. If you want to be stealthy, upgrade Ring of Shadows. If you want to go magic, use Trainee's Wand. If you want a ranged playstyle, use the darts from Pouch of Necessities. If you want a melee playstyle, use the melee capabilities of the Pouch of Necessities. You can have any playstyle!
Subclasses:
This is where specialization happens.
Stone Wall:
-Double health
-Half damage
Glass Cannon:
-Double damage
-Half health
These subclasses are literally complete opposites.
Epic Armor:
If you're the Stone Wall, the armor becomes Guard of Protection.
Guard of Protection:
This epic armor grants access to Guard of Might: Gain Barkskin, Herbal Armor (That lets you move without it wearing of) and Armor Boost (Halves damage taken) and weakens all enemies for 20 turns.
If you're the Glass Cannon, the armor becomes Suit of Destruction.
Suit of Destruction:
This epic armor allows it user to perform a move known as Destruction Status: Gain Armor Breaker (Ignore armor), Enchantment of Death (Triple damage), and Anihilation Aura (Quadruple damage) and gives every enemy Armor Broken (Double damage taken) for 20 turns.
If you're not in any subclass, you get the Allstar Gear.
Allstar Gear:
Having this armor equipped allows its user to use Booster: Gain the same Herbal Armor as Stone Wall, and Anihilation Aura while doubling its speed for 20 turns.
Tell me what you think of this! Type Allstar ++ if you liked it, or Allstar -- if you don't, then tell me why.
P.S. You must acquire the Amulet of Yendor as the Huntress, Warrior, Mage, and Rogue to unlock.
Lost Soul:
-Starts with a Ghostly Dagger (Just a pale, semi-transparent dagger).
-Has only 1 health the whole game.
-Starts with a unique 'Soulbound' Holy Shield (When active, make the next successful hit do no damage) that recharges every 5 turns.
-Never Hungry.
-Always levitates, but can trample grass and step in water, along with activating positive effect plants.
-Immune to negative status conditions.
-Starts with a unique 'Soulbound' Remains of Remembering (Takes 5 charges to fill, gain charges by killing 10 enemies) that can summon a Lost Spirit (1 health, invincible, 20 damage, moves every 0.25 turns, takes one damage after hitting an enemy) or gain Ghostly Evasion(never hit) for 10 turns when fully charged.
-Starts with a Ring of Evasiveness
This is meant as a challenge character, therefore needing three of the upsides to be actually possible.
Subclasses:
Possessed Statue:
-Now has normal health progression, with three starting health.
-Double damage
Poltergeist:
-Can interact with an object or push an enemy from 4 tiles away
-Doubles evasiveness
-Holy shield works twice as much
Epic Armor:
The armor becomes Spirit's Cloak.
Spirit's Cloak:
This deceptively protective cloak allows its user to preform a technique called Spirits' Wrath: Just the effect from scroll of wipeout, but has a 50 turn cooldown instead of taking health.
Type Lost Soul ++ if you like it, or Lost Soul -- if you don't, then explain your reasoning.
