In SPS-PD the Spectacles have become useless because the Vault and Dragon Cave floors are removed, so there is no point anymore in burning bookshelves with Spectacles to find these journal pages, like there is in Sprouted, and also Scrolls of Magic Mapping and Blue berries work in all SPS-PD's Sokoban floors, without needing the hero to equip the Spectacles first. In consequence, as the burnt Bookshelves is SPS-PD can drop scrolls (see the [[Mod-SPecial_Surprise_Pixel_Dungeon#Misc.|Misc. section]] in the main Mod page for details), the hero should burn bookshelves as early as he/she has available items to do so, and not wait until he/she visits Sokoban 2 and obtains the Spectacles. Also the Towel has lost some of its importance, due to the removal of the 10 floors of the Dolyahaven mines from SPS-PD, but it is still useful against the enemies the produce Demon Blood and is obtained in Sokoban 1, which is extremely easy to solve.

[This wiki page is updated with the changes from the developer's latest releases "Epic Battle 3: Time Cave" and "2019 Spring Festival" (link to the latest apk).]

Sokoban Generally

[This is not a guide to the Sokoban floors with solutions to their puzzles (which are very much easier in SPS-PD due to the availability of the Jump Shoes and bombs), but only to the changes that exist in Sokoban floors of SPS-PD in comparison to Sprouted.]

Otiluke’s Sokoban Journal is renamed to Dolya Stale (i.e. Slate), is sold at the floor 1 shop for 1500 gold, and has many minor differences with Sprouted. It charges up to 1000, but it can be used even at 500+ charges to teleport to any Sokoban floor (in other words it can be used two times in succession, when it is fully charged at +1000 - the game gives a message when it is fully charged and not when it is ready for one use). Any time the hero adds a new page, the Dolya Slate gets fully charged, even if it has no charges, and if the hero adds a new page to a fully charged Slate, it will get +50% charges (it will have +150% with one page, +200% with two pages etc.)

Dolya Slate
A transport item made in Dolya Town. You can add some location into this magic stone and you can go there by using this thing. (sold in the shop of floor 1)

Its Sweet Home (formerly Safe Room) and Dolya Town (formerly Dolyahaven) pages are sold in the Prison and Caves shops on floors 10 and 15 for 1500 gold each and are not dropped anymore.

Dragon Cave and Vault floors have been removed from SPS-PD, so there are only 7 original Sokoban journal floors left but also 2 new are added: 4 puzzle floors (Sokoban 1,2, 3, 4), 3 “friendly” floors (Sweet Home - formerly Safe Room, Dolya Town - formerly Dolyahaven, and Spring Festival Town - new page) and the First Final Battle floor (Energy Core - new page in SPS-PD but part of Dolyahaven in Sprouted).

Otiluke's Journal - Sokoban 1
Location of Sokoban 1 (drops from any of the three probable bosses of floor 5)

My hometown was a beautiful place 50 years ago. Lots of people came here for the magic stones, the great waterfalls, the delicious food, or something wonderful.

But because of the empire's industrial pollution, and of low-quality visitors, my hometown became worse. So I decided to save my town.

When the hero first arrives in Sokoban 1, this message is displayed: Finally, I start my adventure in my hometown. I went to Tower, an old magic school, it was famous for its laboratory and library. After that, I heard a story about weird boxes, deadly traps and hidden treasure. I know where I should go. Otiluke, 1345th year of the Empire.

Housing Contract > Sweet Home page (formerly Safe Room)
A title deed of luxury villas with three rooms, two halls, one kitchen, one bathroom and one terrace. (sold in the shop of floor 6)

When the hero first arrives in Sweet Home, this message is displayed: The seller: Shopkeeper. The buyer: Hero. The seller and buyer, based on equality, voluntariness and negotiated consensus, hereby conclude the following agreement on the purchase and sale of this commodity house: Seller will sell Sweet House to buyer. Buyer will give Seller 1500 gold. This agreement is in duplicate and has the same legal effect.

Otiluke's Journal - Sokoban 2
Location of Sokoban 2 (drops from any of the three probable bosses of floor 10)

I have spent lots of time to collect useful information, and I finally found this place. I see some huge boxes, traps and treasure in there.

I am sure this is some quest, and I know I can solve it.

When the hero first arrives in Sokoban 2,this message is displayed: I completed that quest, and found some treasure. One piece of gold I found in there has some terrible energy. After I came back to the Tower, I sent this gold to the laboratory. It seems like... a co-ordinate. I hope my Dolya Stone can still work. Otiluke, 1348th year of the Empire.

Invitation from town > Dolya Town (formerly Dolyahaven)
Location of Dolya Town. (sold in the shop of floor 11)

Sorry, no magic stone is sold here now.

When the hero first arrives in Dolya Town, this message is displayed: Dolya, located in the northwest of the Empire is famous for its beautiful and unique scenery. Xianquan mountain is sheer and cliffy, which is known as the natural screen of Dolya. Sorry, there are no tours and other services available in this scenic spot at the present. [Note: xian quan in chinese means "solenoid", a type of coil.]

Otiluke's Journal - Sokoban 3
Location of Sokoban 3 (drops from any of the two probable bosses of floor 15)

I found that place, a castle appeared after I used Dust of Appearance.

I know this castle has some builder as that prison. There are same traps, same boxes, same tr... wait, a huge mirror with a mirror weapon?! I must reduce my voice.

I will never give up before I find my way to save my hometown.

When the hero first arrives in Sokoban 3, this message is displayed: Killing that mirror wasted my time, but I found that artifact at last. Based on the report by the laboratory, these glasses can open a portal to another world. There are some unknown creatures that live in there. I am ready to enter this portal. Otiluke, 1355th year of the Empire.

Otiluke's Journal - Sokoban 4
Location of Sokoban 4 (drops from the Dwarf King in floor 20)

Those creatures are in fear when I close them, and they will transport me to somewhere else.

It was the 61st time. I found a big stone tablet, and I can see some unknown words in there. If I can understand what this says, I may communicate with that creature.

When the hero first arrives in Sokoban 4, this message is displayed: I can't remember how much time I have spent in translating that language, but at last, I succeeded. This world is created by Zot, a powerful void leader. He was trying to rule every world, but he failed. With the help of different heroes in different worlds, Zot lost his power and can't move anymore. Then, I had a great idea. If I control Zot, I wil have enough energy to save my hometown. I can see my bright future! But first of all, I need to enter his fortress. Otiluke, 1361st year of the Empire.

Spring Festival Land
A simple location with number 5/2/2019. (drops from Yog-Dzewa in floor 25)

No message is displayed on the hero's first visit.

Otiluke's Journal - About the code > Energy core
The address of Energy Core (drops after the Orb of Zot, which is the loot from the last Shadow Yog, gets broken).

Description: This is an automatic attack creature. It was created by Zot, and I controlled the creature after I defeated Zot.

No message is displayed on the hero's first visit.

The puzzle floors’ layout is identical with Sprouted but there are some major and minor differences, mostly in the texturing of the floors and in the available solutions for the puzzles, due to the availability of the Jump Shoe and bombs. Like Sprouted, their unique and rare items spawn only in the hero's first visit, but gold chests retain their good amounts of gold in every hero's visit, with the chests that contained rare or unique items in the first visit having good gold loot in all the next visits. Approximately Sokoban 1 chests will drop from 1000 to 2000 gold, Sokoban 2 chests from 12000 to 14000 gold, and Sokoban 3 and 4 chests from 6000 to 8000 gold).

Scrolls of Magic Mapping and Blue berries work in all the Sokoban floors. Potions of Mind Vision and the Peek ability of the dew vial also work in all Sokoban floors, even in the Energy Core battle. Still Levitation from Potions, the Jump Shoes of the Rogue or the enhanced Dew Vial doesn't work on the Sokoban floors.

Sweet Home (formerly Safe Room - Floor 50)

Unlike Sprouted the Sweet Home page is sold for 1500 gold in the floor 6 shop, and is not dropped by a Gnoll Archer. The former Safe Room apart from being renamed is now much different than before, being more spacious and hosting many more rooms than before. Additionally, it comes with an alchemy pot and a number of chests; they mostly contain gold (small amounts, from 25 to 50 gold each, unlike the gold chests in other Sokoban floors, but they are many, so the hero will leave Sweet Home the first time appr. 1500 gold richer), but can also contain 1 to 2 Scrolls of Upgrade/Magical Infusion and one always comes with a Lucky Badge (SPS-PS's equivalent of the Ring of Wealth). The floor offers more features than in Sprouted, so the Safe Room will be more useful than before until Dolya Town is reachable, where there is also an alchemy pot, and the grass also regrows each time the hero visits it, as well as over time during the hero’s visit.

List of different Rooms in the Sweet Home

File:Huntress-3.jpg
  • Heroes spawn in a wide room at the top, which has a decorational tent in the middle. In the hero's first visit this room contains a lot of chests.
  • There are small rooms to the left and right, The left one contains a decorational bed and the right one is as perfect as possible for watering once some grass is put inside of them via planting a seed.
  • Down below is an even larger room that branches out to five other rooms (it is the room where the Rogue is standing in the picture). In the hero's first visit this room also contain a lot of chests.
  • On the left and right are tall but empty rooms. In the hero's first visit these rooms also contain a lot of chests.
  • The lower left room is small, and contains an Alchemy Pot useful for cooking and brewing.
  • At the bottom is a 4x3 room filled with grass. It's not quite as ideal as the small room on the top.
  • The lower right room is flooded with water. It is convenient when the hero has a Burning/Caustic Ooze debuff and no water nearby in the regular dungeon, to visit the Sweet Home for this room.

Sokoban Puzzles 1, 2, 3, 4 (Floors 51, 52, 53, 54)

Differences from Sprouted

Similarly to Sprouted Sokoban puzzle 1, 2, 3, 4 pages are dropped by the mini-bosses of floors 5, 10, 15 and 20 (in SPS-PD there is just more mini-bosses). The most important difference in solving Sokoban floors 1, 2, 3, 4 in SPS-PD is the availability of the Jump Shoes and regular bombs for all classes, and additionally of the Shovel for the Performer: many parts of each puzzle that would demand either a lot of sheep moving or a wand of flock in Sprouted, are instantly solved by jumping or destroying a wall in SPS-PD (apart from the simplicity of this solution, its second advantage is that the Wisdom Protectors that spawn when a Wand of Flock is used are rather slow to defeat with physical attacks due to their high defense, so the less the wand of flock is used, the better and quicker for the hero). Also, switches, portals and sheep in Sokoban floors are retextured:

a) Switches and portals into square or rectagular tiles with different symbols on them:

Box 1-0
Item switch
Gets activated by Sokoban boxes or the Wand of Flock, and makes keys spawn first, and after the keys are finished, makes rare scrolls/rare seeds/the floor's unique item spawn somewhere in the Sokoban floor.
Box 1
Portal
Gets activated by a red switch, teleports to another Sokoban puzzle room otherwise unaccessible.
Box 1-1
Portal switch
Gets activated by Sokoban boxes or the Wand of Flock, activates the teleportation portal.

b) White sheep into white boxes with lines representing to what direction the boxes / former sheep can move:

  • + (Rook box) : can be pushed only vertically and horizontally,
  • + and x (Queen box): can be bushed vertically, horizontally and diagonally,
  • ↔ (Swap box): can get moved to all directions, but by switching places with the hero and not by pushing.

The names Rook and Queen refer to the movement of chess pieces, which is the same with these boxes.

c) Black sheep are retextured into red boxes with a bomb symbol on them and renamed to "Explode box", that represents in a more apparent way the function that the black sheep also have in Sprouted, i.e. disarming one random Sokoban fleecing trap.

Boxes

Putting aside all this retexturing and renaming, they all function the same as their portal, switch and sheep equivalents in Sprouted.

The white boxes get destroyed when moved on a fleecing trap (this is the dangerous trap), but also deactivate it,

Box 1-3
Fleecing trap
Destroys the hero's armor, and if he/she has no armor sends him/her away from the Sokoban floor. Gets deactivated by Sokoban boxes and the Wand of Flock.

or change their available directions each time they are moved on a "change box trap" (it is named as such by the game, but it is not really a trap, as it does not do anything harmful to the hero)

Box 1-2
Change box trap
Changes the direction of Sokoban boxes.

from ↔ to +, and from + to + and x, and they eventually become unmovable "Sheep boxes" (which interestingly can’t activate switches at all, when moved by a Wand of Flow). Like the Wand of Telekinesis in Sprouted, the Wand of Flow can be used in SPS-PD's Sokoban floors to move boxes and even the normally unmovable sheep around, saving again the hero from the use of the wand of flock. The Wand of Flock in SPS-PD's Sokoban has the same effects as those of the Wand of Flock in Sprouted, but is heavily nerfed and produces only one sheep per wand zap (upgrading it only increases its charges), but still summons one Wisdom Protector with each zap. Lastly, like Sprouted, Sokoban floors block Levitation from potions or the enhanced dew vial. On the other hand, unlike Sprouted Scrolls of Magic Mapping, Blue berries and Mind Vision either from potions or the dew vial, all work in the Sokoban floors.

If a Sokoban floor is repeated, there will not be a unique item or rare items like Scrolls of Upgrade in some chests anymore like Sprouted, but instead gold loot in all of these chests. Nevertheless, unlike Sprouted all the chests with gold loot will be generous in any of the hero's visits (chests in Sokoban 1 contain randomly from 390 to 490 gold each, with the amount scaling up and reaching even 790 gold in Sokoban 4). In early levels, repeating the Sokoban 1 puzzle is a convenient way for the hero to make 2000 gold quickly. Equipping a Lucky Badge before visiting a Sokoban floor for the first time will not affect the spawning of rare items or spawn more gold in its chests, like equipping a Ring of Wealth has no effect also in Sprouted. Lastly, Sprouted’s Flying Protectors that spawn when a wand of flock is used are renamed to Wisdom Protectors, and Animated Statues are renamed to Sokoban Protectors, but have no other difference with their Sprouted equivalents, apart from a higher defense to physical attacks and a lower defense in magical attacks.

The unique items of Sokoban puzzles are:

  • Sokoban 1: Towel - has the same sprite and is very similar in function with Sprouted's Towel, as it removes regular Bleeding and Demon Blood Bleeding. Doesn't get equipped and is always available for use.
  • Sokoban 2: Spectacles - same in function and with the same sprite as Sprouted's Spectacles, but useless in SPS-PD (see next paragraph). To do nothing, they also have to be equipped.
  • Sokoban 3: Auto Potion - same in function and with the same sprite as Sprouted’s Auto Potion, it makes the hero drink a healing potion, when his/her life is in danger, but only if it is equipped.
  • Sokoban 4: Whistle - same with Sprouted’s Pet Whistle but with an abbreviated name and a different sprite. It teleports the hero's pet next to the hero from wherever it is. Doesn't get equipped and is always available for use.
Whistle
Story of a Shepherd.

In consequence, as the burnt Bookshelves is SPS-PD can drop scrolls, the hero should burn bookshelves as early as he/she has available items to do so, and not wait until he/she visits Sokoban 2 and obtains the Spectacles. Also the Towel has lost some of its importance, due to the removal of the 10 floors of the Dolyahaven mines from SPS-PD, but it is still useful against the enemies the produce Demon Blood and is obtained in Sokoban 1, which is extremely easy to solve.

Sokoban Puzzles 1, 2, 3, 4 Maps

[In all the maps red squares show where the floor unique item spawns, and blue squares show which switch gets activated for the unique item to spawn. This does not have to do with the specific switches, but with the number of switches that had already been activated: when there are no more keys to spawn, rare or unique items start spawning. Therefore, the blue squares actually show which switches are the last that the hero normally will get access to them, without the use of many bombs. In Sokoban 3, where there are many variations in the order that the hero will visit its rooms, no blue boxes are noted. When there are more than one red boxes, one of these tiles will randomy spawn the item.]

Sokoban 1

This puzzle is easy even in Sprouted, and because of the Jump Shoes it is even easier in SPS-PD (if the hero makes a mistake with a box, in most of the cases he/she can just jump).

Sokoban 2

The hero should visit this puzzle with one Potion of Liquid Flame or a Wand of Firebolt available, as the Potion of Liquid Flame needed to burn the overgrown bushes covering the outer corridor of the puzzle might not spawn at all.

Sokoban 3

Sokoban 4

The hero should visit this puzzle with one Potion of Liquid Flame or a Wand of Firebolt available, as the Potion of Liquid Flame needed to burn the overgrown bushes in the east part of the puzzle spawns in the isolated built-in chest in the east, that needs at least two bombs to become accessible.

Dolya Town (formerly Dolyahaven - Floor 55)

Apart from being renamed to Dolya Town, Dolyahaven has had so many changes that it has gained an entire new purpose. Now that the Dolyahaven Mines have been completely removed, this little village of Sprouted has become a town in SPS-PD for the player to increase his/her stats, interact with almost 40 NPCs (the vast majority of them totally new) and accept new quests. However, it is initially rather restricted; as the hero progresses through the dungeon, more things are added into Dolya Town. Additionally, all its shops are restocked after the player leaves. The hero should open all 4 chests that two of them start spawning in each hero's visit in Dolya Town in the Cooker M.O.S. room after defeating the floor 15 mini-boss (+7 that also spawn after defeating the floor 15 mini-bosses, if he/she buys two keys for the hotel room and Locastan's room), and the rest two of them after defeating the Dwarf King (those in the room with Jinkeloid, Rawberry and Rustyblade) as they always contain uncommon or rare items, like berries, Phase Pitcher or Starflower seeds and pieces of dark gold (after many visits in Dolya Town, he/she will not need any mining to fulfill the Blaksmiths' demands for dark gold).

Instead of generic villager NPCs, Dolyahaven is inhabited with a variety of friendly characters, most of which are references to developers or pixel artists of other Pixel Dungeon mods, including all that have influenced SPS-PD, but also references to other games. Someone not familiar with the variety of PD mods, could really use Dolya Town as a fun introduction to the subject matter. Although a wiki page about a roguelike game is apparently not the most appropriate place for literary or social theory, it should be noted that SPS-PD is an excellent example of intertextuality and multiculturalism in both its NPCs' references and the multiethnic character of its holiday weapons. [All the NPCs that appear also in Spring Festival Town have a FT after their name. The map in this section's end marks all the NPCs and enemies that have a steady location in Dolya Town with their respective number.]

1) 931451545

931451545
This is one of the translators who helped translate Sahttered into chinese...

This is a depiction of a translator who helped translate Shattered PD into Chinese. They wanders around the map, introducing theirself when talked to or says that he was king of that union.

2) Alive Fish

Alive Fish
A fish man.

A friendly, decorative fish that bubbles all day long in a pod northeast of Dolya Town, next to Pet Dealer Lery.

3) Bilboldev

Bilboldev
This is the developer who has built Skillful Pixel Dungeon. He is a good person.

This is a depiction of Biblboldev, the developer of Skillful Pixel Dungeon, who according to the game is a good person. He mentions Skillful's skill system, campaign, and Hatsune's sacrifice, a lore element of his mod. He also asks the pleyer to be patient with the mod's updates.

4) ConsideredHamster's Mimic

ConsideredHamster's Mimic
While this looks like the developer that has built YAPD, this is not him. Rather, it is his pet.

It is the pet of ConsideredHamster, the developer of Yet Another Pixel Dungeon, he asks for pineapples and to give it only $1, to buy something to eat.

5) Cooker M.O.S. (FT)

Cooker M.O.S.
A tester from another world. He is a cook now.

After the hero has eaten 40 food items, Cooker M.O.S., a cook and tester from another world, opens a food store. This shop will sell almost all of the food items that are normally obtained via cooking, apart from Crystal Nucleus and Honey, and also food rations and pasties, and provides them in a random group of four food items in each hero's visit. He says that before he started playing this game, he was an adventurer, and asks the hero if he/she needs some food and to choose whatever he/she wants. He also appears in Spring Festival Town and says the same things, but sells nothing.

6) Curse Ankh - Union hunter (FT)

Curse Ankh - Union Hunter
He is a demon hunter, as you see.

He shouts: "Burn! Purify! For Sargeras' great expedition!", most probably a reference to the World of Warcraft Sargeras character, who is there the leader of the Burning Legion. Curse Ankh asks also the hero: "Do you need a drink or pet food? Just kidding!" He is also located in Spring Festival Town, where he says he same things.

7) Dachhack

Dachhack
This is the developer who has built Sprouted Pixel Dungeon. He is still working, right?

A sprout with a halo above it, it is a depiction of the Developer of Sprouted Pixel Dungeon, who introduces himself, apologises for the bugs in Sprouted PD that cause it to crash, and also says that the new Sprouted is in test phase and he is waiting for that. He also says that the halo above his head is a reference to Deistic Pixel Dungeon, a mod of Sprouted.

8) Fruit Cat (FT)

Fruit Cat
He is a merchant.

This NPC is hidden in the northwest of Dolya Town at the end of a pathway behind a single burnable overgrown shrub that is directly behind a statue, so Seeds of Firebloom or zaps with Wand of Firebolt can't destroy it, but only Potions of Liquid Flame and regular bombs. He sells every Bomb type for 500 gold, as well as Ankhs for 1250 gold and Honeypots for 750 gold. He won’t appear if less than 250 mobs have been killed in the regular dungeon. He says that after Coconut had left, he left a pile of Ankhs just lying there to collect dust, so the hero can take some of them, as he/she probably needs them more than the Fruit Cat. He also says that after Coconut had left, he bought this shop and for now the shop belongs to the Union and he sells bombs. He appears also in Spring Festival Town, where he says the same things.

9) G2159687 (FT)

G2159687
This is the developer who has built ESPD.

This is a depiction of the Developer of Easier Sprouted Pixel Dungeon, who asks the player if he/she loves his mod and describes it as an easier and bug-fixed version of Sprouted (which is a rather accurate description). He also says that has created another easier mod, Easier Vanila Pixel Dungeon. Sometimes, when spoken to, he will offer a key to a hotel room which is adjacent to this room in exchange for 100 gold. After the hero has killed the first Yog, this room will contain four treasure chests (that usually contain Dark Gold, but also Phase Pitchers and Starflower seeds, so be sure to open them) and a bed that can be slept in to instantly restock empty tiles in the stores in Dolya Town, as the bed makes Dolya Town reload (that key can also open the room that is located on the west part of Dolya Town and Locastan is standing outside of it, that it also contains 3 chests after the first Yog gets defeated but does not allow sleeping - if the hero wants to open these too, he/she can just buy two keys). The restocking only affects the spaces where items were bought and only works once for each visit. Unsold items won't change. G2159687 is also located in Spring Festival Town, says the same things and offers also a key to the hero, but there is no point in the hero buying it this time, as there are no locked doors in Spring Festival Town,

10) Geological Surveyor Xavier251998 (FT)

Geological Surveyor Xavier251998
A geological surveyor named Xavier251998.

He is a depiction of pixel artist and secondary developer of Lovecraft Pixel Dungeon. He looks like a pixel art version of Jason Voorhees from the "Friday the 13th" film series and drops a chargrilled meat when the player first talks to him. Just afterwards he warns the hero about the dragon in the mine site, which stopped him from continuing his geological researches about the relationship between crystal movement and man-made mining. He also talks about the glorious past of Dolya Town, when there was a lot of income from magic ore exports. Xavier251998 is also located in Spring Festival Town, drops again a chargrilled meat, and says the same things. [He is one of the four NPCs that exist also in Sprouted's Dolyahaven, but as a plain Dolyahaven Villager, that drops also a chargrilled meat, and informs the hero about the entrance to the Dolyahaven Mines.]

11) Hate Sokoban (FT)

Hate Sokoban
He is a tester from another world. Maybe he is from Pony Town.

It looks like a pink "My little pony" character and is most probably a reference to both the withdrawn mod of Remixed PD "Pixel Ponies" and to the hate of Sprouted's players for the Sokoban puzzles. He says that he came here to test the game, that it is just a game and it is fun. It also advises the player to use the Wand of Flock in Sokoban puzzles when he/she gets stuck, and also to summon a pet fairy by zapping a Mob Soul with the wand. In Festival Town, where it also appears, he says the same things.

12) Jinkeloid - Union president (FT)

Jinkeloid - Union President
She is the Union President, some kind of ice element.

She is a depiction of another translator of Remixed and Shattered PDs in chinese. It welcomes the player and says that the Union is now just a tourist spot. She also says that in this place freezing by ice will deal more damage. She also appears in Spring Festival Town and says the same things.

13) Juh9870

Juh9870
Developer of Moonshine Pixel Dungeon.

He looks like an archer and is a depiction of the developer of Moonshine Pixel Dungeon. He says that he hopes that he will find more things in here and also talks about his grandpa that brewed good Moonshine and believed that dreams are forbidden, a reference to two withdrawn mods that Juh9870 was involved with, Dreamful PD and Forbidden PD.

14) Locastan

Locastan
This is the developer who has built Goblins Pixel Dungeon. Goblins Pixel dungeon is based on Unleashed Pixel Dungeon.

It looks like a goblin and is a depiction of the developer of Goblins Pixel Dungeon, a mod of Unleashed Pixel Dungeon. It insists that the lamp it is holding is not crap but a sophisticated adventuring tool, and actually it is Unleashed Pixel Dungeon. It also says that it can't give it to the hero, because it needs it in its adventure. it also shows the locked next to it and says that maybe it can open it, but never does, so the hero must buy another key from G2159687 to enter the room (it contains 3 treasure chests like those of the hotel room, that also start spawning after the first Yog is defeated and contain good loot).

15) Maintainer S.O.F.S. (FT)

Maintainer S.O.F.S.
He is a proest and also he is the only repairman in this town.

He looks like a cat, but he is described as a priest and the only repairman of Dolya Town. He wanders around Dolya Town, but when he is spoken to, he wants to talk with the hero about the heavenly father Kesulu, most probably a reference to the chinese pronounciation of H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulu. He also mentions that a dreamer forgets many things of the day during the night, and complains that he feels tired because of all the things he has to fix. He also wanders around Spring Festival Town and says the same things.

16) Nortthwest Shopkeeper

Shopkeeper
This stout guy looks more appropriate for a trade district in some large city than for a dungeon. His prices explain why he prefers to do business here.

He doesn't interact verbally with the hero, but only gives the option to the hero to sell items to him. He is one of the four NPCs that existt also in Sprouted's Dolyahaven. About his merchantise see shops section just below.

17) Nyrdie

Nyrdie
This is the developer who has built Remixed Pixel Dungeon. He is a little red mascot.

He is the little red mascot from the main menu of Remixed Dungeon that represents the developer of that mod, NYRDS. He introduces himself and advises you to never forget to brush your teeth. It is next to the west shopkeeper that, after the player has obtained a level +12 or higher item, sells cheap but strong items like seeds of phase pitcher, starflower, and upgrade eater, as well as other items like pet food, regular potions, and regular scrolls (see the shops section below for details).

18) Oldnewstwist

Oldnewstwist
A gnoll traveller. He is almost naked.

He is a depiction of the piixel artist and secondary developer of Deistic Pixel Dungeon, a friendly gnoll NPC from a peaceful gnoll tribe, who is hidden in a secret room in the back of Cooker M.O.S.'s store. When the hero first meets him he is freezing, because the hostile dungeon gnolls ripped up his clothes and left him almost naked. A new set of Gnoll Clothes can be obtained by defeating the new mini-boss, the Gnoll King, in the Treasure Map challenge level.

Gnoll clothes
A small, delicate windbreaker. It doesn't seem to be the size of a human being.

Once he gets the clothes and his quest is completed, he thanks the hero for these warm fine fibers and for defeating the evil Gnoll King, and at the hero's next visit in Dolya Town he has already opened up a shop of his own that sells a single holiday weapon like a Christmas Tree, different in each hero's visit (see the weapons section for a full list of holiday weapons).

Oldnewstwist
Now that he has the warmth of good clothing, he can comfortably begin some trading of his own.

[The game messages are accidentally reversed, and are put here in the correct order.] Oldnewstwist says that he sells off-season holiday weapons, but he also sells the on-season Toy Gun, he just sells it just 5 times higher than the price that the floor 1 shop sells it. All the weapons that Oldnewstwist sells are very interesting, as they refer to different world cultures and religions and give the game a multiethnic feel, which must certainly be applauded as a developer’s decision in general. Nevertheless, they are also all Tier 1 weapons, are sold for 2500 gold and have the lowest upgrade rate, and by the time the hero will be able to give Oldnewstwist the Gnoll Clothes, he will have no practical use for any of these weapons, apart from decorating the Safe Room for Christmas, Halloween or the Chinese Spring Festival. The only useful holiday weapons are the Toy Gun, which is also sold in the floor 1 shop for 500 gold though, and to a small degree the Test Weapon which is strong only against the Dolya Town scarecrows.

19) Otiluke

Otiluke
Otiluke, a great wizard from Dolya Town. You can ask from him a reward.

Only available after defeating the true final boss, Zot, and an NPC already familiar from the Sprouted lore. When the player first meets him in Dolya Town Otiluke he will say "Finally, after so much time, I see my hometown again!" and "I will help you to enter the Tower, if you want.", but if the hero insists in bugging him, he will finally respond "Ok, I know what you want, take this counterfeit Amulet. I had to give the real one to the Tower, but don't worry, this works the same way, and I have more if you need them". If the hero continues to talk to him, he will give another amulet, and another amulet etc. As he said, they are fake and he has many. [He is one of the four NPCs that exist also in Sprouted's Dolyahaven and is also only available in end-game there, but has a different interaction with the player and gives a Pudding Cup to the hero instead of an Amulet of Yendor.]

20) Pet Dealer Lery (FT)

Pet Dealer Lery
He is another element of this Union. He is good at training pets.

This is the depiction of another translator of Pixel Dungeon. He looks like the Newborn Fire Elemental from one of Shattered’s Old Wandmaker quests and the Chaos Elemental of SPS-PD, and opens his shop only to those who have used 5 Random or Mob Souls (not necessarily hatched 5 pets, but opened 5 souls). He says that he sells eggs here and asks the hero if he/she is cool. He sells either a single Random Soul or a specific Soul of Mob with a ready-to-get-released pet (for example a Soul of Web or a Soul of Green Dragon) both for 12500 gold, or an unhatched Mob Soul for 1250 gold. His shop is the only way for the hero to acquire an Easter Bunny pet, and also a Lifestealer pet in all the months apart from December, by buying a Soul of Rabbit or a Soul of Death. The player should have in mind that when Lery sells a specific Soul of Pet, sometimes the name of the soul is not identical with the name of the pet: Soul of Chaos hatches the Chaos Elemental, Soul of Death the Lifestealer and Soul of Life the Life Fairy (these two can be the most confusing, as their sprites in the soul boxes are also almost the same - Life Fairy is just pink and Lifestealer is purple), Soul of Rabbit the Bunny of Easter Egg, and Soul of Web the Web Spider. He is also located in Spring Festival Town, where he says the same things, but sells nothing.

21) Rawberry - Chairman of the Union (FT)

Rawberry - Chairman of the Union
He is the Chairman of the Union.

She looks like a cat but claims to be a magical-princess-from-another-dimension and also proclaims that friendship-is-magic and that the world-is-still-the-same-there's-just-less-in-it. She is most probably a reference to Rawberry Preserves, a character from the Gray Garden game series. Rawberry is also located in Spring Festival Town and says the same things there.

22) Ren (FT)

REN
He is a developer in China. He loves East Project, so he is mixing that into his Shattered mod. He is hard working.

He is described by the game as a Chinese developer who loves East Project (a translation of the Touhu Project game title, which a bullet hell shoot em' up video game) and tries mixing it with his Shattered mod. He gives the hero the Challenge Book, when the hero has at least one challenge page in his/her inventory, and also a Reimus Goei weapon, if the hero interacts again with Ren after he/she had acquired all four challenge reward bags (the hero doesn't have to keep them unopened and meet Ren with all of them in the backpack, he/she just has to obtain them), which is a unique weapon and can be obtained only in this way. Ren first introduces himself with "Nice to see you, I'm Ren. You found my message on that challenge picture, right? Take this Challenge book, it can help you." Afterwards, he will either ask "What does Usami-Renko mean?" (answer: it is a character from the forementioned Touhu Project game) or say "Well, I like teas, no matter what tea it was." and "If i have time, I will tell you a story about the best place in my world." Ren is also located in Spring Festival Town and says the same things there.

23) Rune Scholar Lynn (FT)

Rune Scholar Lynn
An excellent Rune scholar.

She appears in Dolya Town after the hero gives her a Dew Mushroom in the mining caves in the regular dungeon. She says that she has already activated the altar in the middle building, which allows the hero to convert three Magic Stones into a Tier 6 Weapon. She also wonders what would she do next. Lynn is also located in Spring Festival Town and says the same things there, but with no altar around.

24) Rustyblade - Battlemaster (FT)

Rustyblade
He is the Battlemaster in this Union, and he has his own legendary story.

He says that he is a Master and that Attack Up, Attack Down, Defense Up, Defense Down are basic buffs. Rustyblade is also located in Spring Festival Town and says the same things there.

25) SadSaltan

SadSaltan
The draftsman of Moonshine Pixel Dungeon. The name "Moonshine" is hung on his clothes.

He is a depiction of the developer of Moonshine Pixel Dungeon, that wanders around Dolya Town. He is surprised to see the hero, as people don't show up often in the dungeon, and also shares his thoughts about that when a man has money in his pocket, he begins to appreciate peace. He also invites the player to his saloon, "Moonshine Dungeon", gives the hero his business card (in text only), and asks him/her to share a drink with him later.

26) Secretary Kostis12345 (FT)

Secretary Kostis12345
She is the secretary in this town, and she works very hard.

She is a depiction of reddit user kostis12345, who has helped in writing the SPS-PD wiki pages. She either asks the hero if he/she has seen the Mayor, because they have lots of things to do or advises him/her to visit the SPS-PD wiki pages, if he/she has any questions about the game. She concludes with a rather random "Come on Teletubby, teleport us to Mars!", which is a reference to the american drag queen Tammie Brown. Kostis12345 is also located in Spring Festival Town and has also a small shop there, which sells one ring for 1875 gold or an atrtifact for 2500 gold each time the hero visits the town, but says the same things as in Dolya Town.

27) Shattered Flame Blast (FT)

Shattered Flame Blast
He is a fire mage.

He is the depiction of another translator of Pixel Dungeon. He either shouts "Me!" aggressively or says that he wants to burn something and also that if a target is burning, it will move fast. Shatered Flame Beast is also located in Spring Festival Town where he says the same things.

28) Shattered Pixel Dungeon (FT)

Shattered Pixel Dungeon
This is a sign of Shattered Pixel Dungeon, the most succesful mod of Pixel Dungeon.

The logo of the mod itself, which is described as the most succesful pixel dungeon mod. It is standing next to a tent, introduces itself as the mod of 00-Evan, welcomes the hero, and talks about its developer, Evan Debenham, that he is so obsessive about fixing what's broken in it, that he doesn't know what to say. It is also located in Festival Town where it says the same things.

29) Tempest102 (FT)

Tempest102
He is a survival master.

He is the depiction of another translator of Pixel Dungeon. He is described as a survival master, is also standing next to the tent and says either "prprprprprpr" or "I live in this tent so that I can stalk Evan every day and night. Just kidding!". He is also located in Festival Town where he says the same things.

30) The Mayor Noodlemire

The Mayor Noodlemire
He is the mayor in this town. He also wrote a book about the chancel.

He is the depiction of reddit user Noodlemire , who is the developer of Chancel Pixel Dungeon (and not a writer of a book about chancels), and who has also helped in writing these SPS-PD wiki pages. He first welcomes the hero to Dolya Town and introduces himself as the Mayor. In early levels he will then say to the hero to come back again later to find more things, but from mid-game until end-game he repeats that Dolya Town used to be a great town, but because of the enviromental pollution lot of people left. [He is one of the four NPCs that exist also in Sprouted's Dolyahaven, and also as the Mayor there (just the Mayor, not Noodlemire the Mayor). In Sprouted he welcomes the hero and gives him the Return Beacon, which will be useful in the Dolyahaven Mines.]

31) Trainer Rain

Trainer Rain
A trainer who is ready for battle.

He appears after the player has obtained level 40. Just below him are two mobs, a passive Test Mob, and a Clockwork Scarecrow that becomes hostile if attacked. Trainer Rain also sells Scrolls of Upgrade for 2500 gold, as well as scroll-like items that can boost the hero's Accuracy, Evasion, or Magic Power by one point each, and are titled "Learn How to Attack", "Learn How to Dodge", and "Learn How to Use Magic", respectively, for 250, 500 or 1250 gold each. He asks the hero if he wants to train him/herself and advises him/her to check his/her DPS on that scarecrow (he means apparently the passive Test Mob to the left).

32) Treasure Hunter S.M.R. (FT)

Treasure hunter S.M.R.
A tester from another world. He is a demon eye.

It looks like a friendly Evil Eye and is described as a tester from another world and a demon eye. It appears only if all rings have been identified, and is located in the left part of the Cooker M.O.S.'s store. It says that it is not human but a treasure hunter, and asks the hero if he/she needs some treasure. It sells adamant items for 5000 gold (ring/wand), 6250 gold (weapon) and 7500 gold (armor). In Spring Festival Town it appears regardless of the rings identified, says the same things, but doesn't sell anything.

33) TypedScroll

TypedScroll
This is the developer who has built LCPD. He looks like an error.

He is the depiction of the developer of Lovecraft Pixel Dungeon and of two other withdrawn mods, Plugin Pixel Dungeon and Statistics Pixel Dungeon, who is described as looking like an error, probably because of the high frequency of bugs in his mods. He introduces hilmself, says that he doesn't know what to say, and asks from the player to have more confidence in Lovecraft Pixel Dungeon. He is located next to the southwest Shopkeeper, that after the player has obtained a level +12 or higher item, regularly sells expensive rare items like Scrolls of Upgrade/Magical Infusion/Regrowth, Magic Stones, Runic Blades etc. (for details see the shops section below).

34) Udawos

Udawos
This is the developer who has built Pioneer. He seems like that he is doing his job now.

He looks like a blacksmith and is a depiction of the developer of the Pioneer game (a sci-fi spinoff of Pixel Dungeon), who introduces himself, asks the player if he/she has played his game Pioneer before, and talks about how his game is an RPG game instead of a roguelike (which is a rather accurate description).

35) UNIST HeXA

UNIST HeXA
This is the developer of UNIST Pixel Dungeon... I have never heard about this mod...

It is a blue floating crystal, which is described as the developer of UNIST Pixel Dungeon, and thinks that the player has never heard about this mod before. It also says that the mod can only be downloaded in South Korea (not true, it is available for download in various sites, just not in the Play Store) but that its code can still be found in GitHub.

36) Watabou

Watabou
this is the developer who has built the original Pixel Dungeon from the ground up... Amazing...

He looks like an alien from the classic arcade game "Space Invaders" and is a depiction of the Developer of the original Pixel Dungeon. He says that he is still here in spirit, even though he has not updated Pixel Dungeon for three years now and he also advises the player to try the other games he has made like Patient Rogue. He appears after the Dwarf King is defeated and for some unknown reason he spawns in a wall.

37) West Shopkeeper

Shopkeeper
This stout guy looks more appropriate for a trade district in some large city than for a dungeon. His prices explain why he prefers to do business here.

He also doesn't interact verbally with the hero, but only gives the option to the hero to sell items to him. About his merchantise see shops section just below.

Dolya Town Shops

All shops are totally restocked in every hero’s visit and their empty tiles, after the hero has bought an item, are refilled once after the hero sleeps in the hotel room.

Cooker M.O.S.’s shop (NPC 5)

It is located at the northeast of the town and opens after the player eats 40 food ittems. It sells various food items, both found/dropped in the dungeon (but not raw materials like plain monster meat, mystery meat and dungeon nuts or their grilled/toasted/frozen version - it desn't also sell plain Honey) or produced only through cooking. The recipes for some of the most powerful cooked items (Hamburger, Perfect food) require a +10 Alchemist’s Toolkit, so the hero might find very valuable food items there that he/she can’t obtain otherwise. Its prices are totally random: rather valuable food items like Foamed Beverage or Ice Cream are sold from 50 to 100 gold and other rather useless and easily produced like Gel for 1250 - also most food items that contain Honey are sold for 12500 gold, but not always. Pet Food is not sold here, but in the west shop.

Fruit Cat shop (NPC 8)

It sells every bomb type (regular bombs for 250 gold, all the other types for 500 gold) as well as Ankhs for 1250 gold and Honeypots for 750 gold. It appears after 250 mobs have been killed.

Northwest shopkeeper / Shop with Nyrdie (NPCs 16, 17)

It is located at the west of the town and opens after a +12 item is obtained. It sells various items at various prices. Potion and regular Scroll prices range from 500 to 1000 gold (this shop doesn't sell rare scrolls), a berry costs from 125 to 250 gold, a Phase Pitcher 250 gold, but Pet Food only 25 gold. A Mr. Destructo and a Lantern of Soul Collect cost the most, 2500 gold and the Soul of Mobs is also expensive, as it costs 1250 gold.

Oldnewstwist’s shop (NPC 17)

It is located in a secret room in the back of Cooker M.O.S.'s store and opens after Oldnewstwist’s quest is completed. It will sell a single holiday weapon for 2500 gold each time the hero visits Dolya Town. It is the only place in the dungeon for the gero to find off-season holiday weapons, but the only practically useful weapon out of all of them is the Toy Gun, which is also sold in floor 1 shop at the 1/5 of Oldnewstwist's price.

Pet Dealer Lery’s shop (NPC 19)

It is located just below the Cursed Ankh and the Alive Fish, and opens after 5 souls have been used to summon pets (even if no pets were hatched). It sells souls that specific ready-to-get-released pets (for example a Soul of Violet Dargeon that can only summon a Violet Dragon), a Random Soul like the one that comes in a starting hero’s inventory, or a common Soul of Mobs. These are always sold one-at-a-time and all at the cost of 12500 gold each, even the Random Soul, with the only exception of the Mob Soul, that costs 1250 gold.

Trainer Rain (NPC 31)

Not mainly a shopkeeper, nevertheless he sells each time 2 items: 1 or 2 Scrolls of Upgrade for 2500 gold, as well as 1 or 2 scroll-like item that can boost the hero's Accuracy, Evasion, or Magic Power by one point, each for 250 (Attack), 500 (Dodge) or 1250 (Magic) gold.

Treasure Hunter S.M.R. (NPC 32)

It appears after all rings have been identified in the left part of the Cooker M.O.S.'s store, and sells most often one adamant item each time, for 5000 gold (ring/wand), 6250 gold (weapon) and 7500 gold (armor), but sometimes a piece of dark gold for 250 gold.

West shopkeeper / Shop with Typedscroll (NPCs 33, 37)

It is located at the southwest of the town and opens after a +12 item has been obtained. It sells Scrolls of Upgrade, Magical Infusion and Regrowth for 2500 gold, Magic Stones for 1250 gold, all weapons and armors regardless of tier or rarity for 2500 gold, and all wands and rings for 1875 gold. Like they do in the regular dungeon, unidentified scrolls cost less than the identified ones, but in this shop the scrolls are all rare, so around mid-game game, after the shop starts to sell items but before the hero had used/identified these rare scrolls, he/she can buy rare scrolls here for only 500 gold. It is the only place in the dungeon that the hero can find a Runic Blade, and also the only place he/she will find more magic stones than the 6 the Golems have dropped as loot.

Enemies

38) Clockwork Scarecrow

Clockwork Scarecrow
This scarecrow is dangerous. Don't touch it.

Spawns next to Trainer Rain, as long as he has already appeared, after beating the First Yog - this will attack the moment it is engaged, but it isn't capable of dealing much damage, so if its tens of thousands of HP turn out to be too much to handle, it'll only become an inconvenience to the specific visit in Dolya Town. On the first time it is killed, it drops the Heart of Scarecrow, a bag that holds up to 22 different weapons, melee or missile, if the Test Mob has not dropped it already. It is particularly vulnerable to electricity damage and Wands of Lightning.

39) Tomb

Tomb
This ancient tomb may contain something useful, but its owner will most probably objet to checking.

It appears along with Watabou, after the Dwarf King is defeated, and spawns four Wraiths that can be farmed for free Scrolls of Upgrade and Scrolls of Magical Infusion (the gravestone also usually drops a piece of Dark Gold and any other item that is found in the Dolya Town chests much more rarely, but always drops something). The tomb appears in every visit in Dolya Town, even when it was destroyed in the just previous visit, and it is the only place in the SPS-PD that can be farmed for scrolls of Magical Infusion and Upgrade (although in a limited way, as the Dolya Slate needs 500 turns to charge for one visit in Dolya Town). It does not respawn after the hero sleeps in the hotel room though.

40) Dungeon Guard

Guard Dungeon
Guard Dungeon is summoned by someone, but in people's eyes it is the same as normal dungeon.

Another mob with tons of HP, a violet dragon that comes with a hefty ranged attack that deals poison damage, but fortunately cannot use in melee range. It's the only legitimate safety threat in Dolya Town, but it can only attack if its rest is disturbed in the former Dolyahaven Mines Entrance, hidden behind some burnable overgrown bushes in the south west part of the village. On death, it drops the BossRush Challenge, a teleportation item that can take the hero to the BossRush floor. A guide about beating the Guardian Dragon in early levels can be found here.

Boss Rush
This is an uncompleted bossrush. You can try to fight with those new bosses.

41) Test Mob (FT)

Test mob
Test mob

Spawns next to Trainer Rain, as long as he has already appeared, after Dwarf King's defeat. Not exactly an enemy as It is completely passive and won't attack unless some AI-altering effect like Rage is applied to it. It has tens of thousands of HP and drops the Portable Scarecrow bag if the Clockwork Scarecrow has not dropped it aleady. Dut to its passivity, it is a better candidate from the Clockwork Scarecrow for the hero to fight, in order to obtain the bag. It is particularly vulnerable to Fire damage. It also appears in Spring Festival Town, with the same function, but alone, without Trainer Rain and the Clockwork Scarecrow.

42) Two piranhas

They spawn in the pool above the lower right corner of the map after the mini-boss of floor 15 is defeated. They are very hard to get hit without an Attack Up buff, even by heroes in end-game, but apparently can't resist getting pulled by Ethereal Chains.

Map of Dolya Town

Spring Festival Town (Floor 66)

The Spring Festival Town page is dropped from Yog-Dzewa after getting defeated. This particular Sokoban floor is meant to appear only in the period of the year when the Chinese New Year / Spring Festival is celebrated in the final version of SPS-PD, but in the current version it is a permanent Sokoban floor. It is almost as big as Dolya Town (although 2/3 of its space is occupied by a huge "2019 Spring Festival" sign made by red marble - the 2019 part, and red overgrown shrubs - the spring festival part) but with half of Dolya town's population, no quests and with two little shops that sell one thing each. Half of the NPCs of Dolya Town appear here also, all saying the same things they say in Dolya Town. Secretary kostis12345 has a small shop in the northwest that sells one different item in each hero's visit: rings for 1875 gold and artifacts for 2500 gold (this is the only shop in the dungeon that sells randomly but neverthesless regularly artifacts - unlike regular shopkeepers, she doesn't buy items from the hero). The other shopkeeper, Coconut, doesn't appear in Dolya Town and sells here random regular items. Lastly, in the southeast part of Spring Festival Town there is a small column titled "Thank list" that every time the hero interacts with it, it will mention randomly the name of a person that the developer wishes to thank for his/her help in developing his mod. Spring Festival Town has only three unique NPCs:

a) "You", a question mark that sometimes becomes an arabic question mark and only says: "It is you. / It is just you." and wanders around Spring Festival Town.

You
???

b) Coconut, a metal cat that keeps a small shop in the soutth of Festival Town, which sells one regular item in each hero's visit. It says that it is thinking of summoning a new hero, but it is not sure about it, that It had spent a lot of time to build this place, and that it still has a shop in here. He offers regular scrolls and potions from 500 to 1000 gold, wands for 1875 gold, weapons ans armor for 2500 gold, and generally has the same prices with the Dolya Town shops, but he doesn't sell rare iitems, and unlike regular shopkeepers he doesn't buy items from the hero.

Coconut
A metal cat... Maybe...

c) The developer of this game hamdz001, who is nevertheless described as a player and not a developer, who tries to fix some error in this world. He is located in a room at the south of the town, hidden behind some burnable overgrown bushes that their arrangement makes the hero need 4 potions of Liquid Flame or regular bombs to free the way to him (there is no practical reason for the hero to meet him, nevertheless it is nice meeting the developer of the game you are playing). He asks the player if he/she had seen his cat, Coconut, which is cute and is made from metal, and informs him/her that this town's purpose is to celebrate the Chinese Spring Festival, and although he knows that he and and the player have different cultures and histories, this is just one part of the game (apparently the developer is addressing the engish speaking gamers community, as there is also a chinese version of SPS-PD, in which this statement would not make sense). Hmdzl001 is hidden in a room behind a pathway covered with burnable bushes, and his room also contains one of the two floor's alchemy pots (the other one is next to Treasure Hunter S.M.R. to the north).

Golden Nut (SPS-PD)
Hmdzl001
He is a player, not a developer. He will try to fix some error in this world.
