[This wiki page describes the recently released version "Halloween 2019" in which 12 new NPCs were added in Dolya Town and the whole depth was retextured. You can read about SPS-PD's Sokoban puzzles in their separate page and about the Energy Core fight in the Bosses page.]

Dolya Town (formerly Dolyahaven) generally

Dolya Slate contents SPS-PD

Dolya Town is sorted sixth in Dolya Slate's contents, after the hero has gathered all of its missing pages, and its depth has the number 55. Its page is named "Invitation to town" and is always sold in the Caves shop for 1,500 gold. When the hero first arrives in Dolya Town, this message is displayed: Dolya, located in the northwest of the Empire, is famous for its beautiful and unique scenery. Xianquan mountain is sheer and cliffy, which is known as the natural scenery of Dolya. Sorry, there are no tours and other services available in this scenic spot at the present. Note: xian quan in Chinese means "solenoid", a type of coil.

Apart from being renamed to Dolya Town, Dolyahaven has had so many changes that it has gained an entire new purpose. Now that the Dolyahaven Mines have been completely removed, this little village of Sprouted PD has become a town in SPS-PD for the hero to increase his/her stats, interact with 50 NPCs (the vast majority of them totally new in relation to Sprouted PD) and accept new quests. However, it is initially rather restricted; as the hero progresses through the dungeon, more services are added into Dolya Town and also some additional NPCs start appearing. Consumable items and characters able to receive damage are regenerated in Dolya Town in every hero's new visit, so the shops have totally new merchandise, enemies killed in the previous visit respawn (with the only exception of the Violet Dragon), previously opened chests reappear with new loot etc.

After defeating one of the Caves chapter bosses the hero should open in each visit the two chests that start spawning in the Cooker M.O.S. room, as they always contain items like common berries and Starflower seeds, but most often pieces of dark gold (after many visits in Dolya Town, the hero will not need any mining to fulfill the Blaksmiths' demands for it). In addition, 7 more chests also spawn after defeating the Caves chapter bosses, but they are only accessible if he/she buys two keys for the hotel room at the top right and Locastan's room at the top left, and 2 more spawn after defeating one of the Metropolis chapter bosses (these chests are located inside the room at the east corner of Dolya Town with the Honey Pooot, Jinkeloid and Rawberry NPCs in it). Note that sleeping in the hotel room occasionally triggers a game-crashing bug, so take the key, open the chests, but don't sleep there

Instead of generic villager NPCs, Dolya Town is inhabited with 52 friendly characters, most of whom are depictions: a) of developers and pixel artists of other Pixel Dungeon mods, including all that have influenced SPS-PD, some fellow Chinese developers, b) of a few redditers that the developer appreciates their work, c) of translators of Pixel Dungeon mods to chinese, and d) of SPS-PD's playtesters (most of the newly added NPCs belong to this last category). On a side note, this can be described as a manifestation of the Confucian principle of reciprocity - bao, which encourages people to show their gratitude not just verbally by saying "thank you", but by acting in a manner that shows gratitude. That being said, someone not familiar with the variety of PD mods could really use Dolya Town as a fun introduction to the subject matter and also to some of the people that are involved with the Pixel Dungeon mods. Also, although a wiki page about a roguelike game is apparently not the most appropriate place for literary criticism or social theory, it should be noted that SPS-PD is an excellent example of intertextuality and multiculturalism in both its NPCs' references and the multiethnic character of its holiday weapons.

Due to the very big number of Dolya Town's NPCs, they will be divided into four groups based on their location/lack of specific location: a) top left quarter (18 NPCs), b) top right quarter (14 NPCs), c) bottom half (14 NPCs) and d) wandering (6 NPCs). Some enemies are also located In Dolya Town which are described last and all together, as in contrast to the NPCs they are not many. Here is a full map of Dolya Town, divided in the aforementioned parts:

Dolya Town map full & NPCs SPS-PD

Note that few NPCs start appearing in Dolya Town only after a condition is met (most often after the hero has earned a badge in the specific run, no matter if it has been earned in general or not), so players should not expect to see all these NPCs in the hero's first visit in Dolya Town, the big majority of them will already be there though.

Top Left quarter NPCs

Dolya Town NPCs top left quarter SPS-PD

Alfred, Abbey and Abeys

Alfred, Abbey and Abeys NPC SPS-PD
Alfred, Abbey and Abeys
This is the developer of Fushigi-No Pixel Dungeon.

This is a new NPC. He represents the developer of Fushigi No Pixel Dungeon, HappyAlfred. All three characters displayed are also NPCs of that mod. When the hero first interacts with him, he says: "Hello, I am Alfred, they are Abbey and Abeys." but in all the folowing interactions, an alchemy-pot-like game window titled Hungry Abbey will appear and Alfred will say: "Abbey is hungry, but I have no food now. Can you give me a ration, meat and fruit? I 'll give you something after I finish cooking." Note that by "fruit" Alfred means berry. After the player puts in the game window one item of each type and selects Combine, Alfred will give back an [Onigiri] Food Ration, a food item that satisfies only -200 Hunger, but is mostly useful due to the Fushigi No Bless buff it offers for 150 turns, which increases the hero's Luck by +5 (the effect is equal to having a +5 Lucky Badge equipped), and his/her Strength by +1. This food item is only available as a reward by Alfred and can be obtained as many times as the hero offers the requested food items for the hungry Abbey. They are already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

Apostle

Apostle NPC SPS-PD
Apostle
A sparkling cube, mechanical and magnetic in sound, maybe it is one tester from another world. [Note that the lines inside the cube change colors rapidly like a kaleidoscope, but this can not be shown by a still image.]

They are a new NPC and represent a playtester of SPS-PD. When the hero interacts with them they just say: "ONLY MAGIC CAN DEFEAT MAGIC." They are already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

Bilboldev

Bilboldev NPC SPS-PD
Bilboldev
This is the developer who has built Skillful Pixel Dungeon. He is a good person.

This chest represents Bilboldev, the developer of Skillful Pixel Dungeon. When the hero interacts with it, it says either: "LOL, you're gonna have to be patient with Skillful Pixel Dungeon updates. xD.", "Well what's unique about SPD is the skill system and the campaign I plan on picking up soon.", or "Hatsune's sacrifice will not be forgotten!" (the last message is a reference to the only playable character of Skillful PD's campaign mode). It is already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

Bottom Shopkeeper

Shopkeeper
Shopkeeper
This stout guy looks more appropriate for a trade district in some large city than for a dungeon. His prices explain why he prefers to do business here.

He doesn't interact verbally with the hero, but only gives the option to the hero to buy items from him. He is one of the very few NPCs that exist also in Sprouted PD's Dolyahaven. For detals about his merchandise see shops section below. Both of the Shopkeepers of Dolya Town start to sell their merchandise after the hero has obtained a level +12 or higher item.

ConsideredHamster's Mimic

ConsideredHamster NPC SPS-PD
ConsideredHamster's Mimic
While this looks like the developer that has built YAPD, this is not him. Rather, it is his pet.

This pet mimic represents ConsideredHamster, the developer of Yet Another Pixel Dungeon. When the hero interacts with it, it says either: "I'm so hungry... I only need $1, could you feed me please...?", or "Pineapples!". It is already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

Cooker M.O.S.

Cooker M.O.S. NPC SPS-PD
Cooker M.O.S.
A tester from another world. He is a cook now.

He also represents an SPS-PD playtester. Although he is already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit, he does nothing, until the hero has eaten 40 food items and obtains the relevant badge. Then Cooker M.O.S. opens a food store which sells randoly almost all of the food items that are normally obtained via cooking in alchemy pots, (with the exceptions of Honey and of all mushrooms, he sells food items cooked with honey though) and also pasties, and provides them in a random group of four food items in each hero's visit. If the hero buys food items and sleeps in the hotel room, the Cooker's merchandise will restock (but don't do that, as sleeping in the hotel room might make the game crash and the save file get deleted). When the hero interacts with him, he says either: "Need some food? Choose what you want." or "Before I started playing this game, I was an adventurer." (note that he offers food to the hero verbally, regardless of he having opened his store or not, but in the second case these are just empty words).

Hate Sokoban

Hate Sokoban NPC SPS-PD
Hate Sokoban
He is a tester from another world. Maybe he is from Pony Town.

He looks like a pink "My little pony" character and is most probably a reference to both the withdrawn mod of Remixed Dungeon "Pixel Ponies" and to the hate that many Sprouted PD players feel for the Sokoban puzzles. When the hero interacts with him, he says: "You know, this is just a game. I came here to test it, isn't that fun?", and "If you suck in any Sokoban level, try to use the wand of flock. If you want to summon a fairy, use the wand of flock to shoot the soul of mobs." Note that his second advice about the fairy was valid in previous versions of SPS-PD, but the pet fairy is chnged into an ally summoned by a specific card in current SPS-PD amd heroes can't get it by influencing souls of mobs anymore.

Locastan

Locastan NPC SPS-PD
Locastan
This is the developer who has built Goblins Pixel Dungeon. Goblins Pixel dungeon is based on Unleashed Pixel Dungeon.

This goblin represents the developer of Goblins Pixel Dungeon, a mod of Unleashed Pixel Dungeon. When the hero interacts with him, he says either: "Huh, this lamp? Well you see, this is actually Unleashed Pixel Dungeon. If you don't mind, I need it in my adventure.", "It's not a piece of crap, it's a sophisticated adventuring tool.", or "This is a locked door, maybe I can open it." Note that he never opens the door, unless the hero buys another key from G2159687 to enter the room, in which case Locastan has no reaction. The room contains 3 treasure chests, but they start spawning only after the hero has beaten one of the Caves chapter bosses.

Nut Painter

Nut Painter NPC SPS-PD
Nut Painter
A tester, he loves nuts.]

He is also a new NPC and represents a playtester of SPS-PD. When the hero interacts with them they just say "ONLY MAGIC CAN DEFEAT MAGIC." They are already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

Nyrdie

Nyrdie NPC SPS-PD
Nyrdie
This is the developer who has built Remixed Pixel Dungeon. He is a little red mascot.

He is the little red mascot from the main menu of Remixed Dungeon that represents the developer of that mod, NYRDS (note that although the developer is mentioned as one, NYRDS is actually a developer's team, that uses this collective name and also has a "personal" profile in some social media). When the hero first meets him, he says: "Hey folks! Nyrdie here.", and then "Advice of the day: don't forget to brush your teeth!" He is located just next to the top shopkeeper and is already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

Oldnewstwist

Oldnewstwist NPC naked SPS-PD
Oldnewstwist
A gnoll traveller. He is almost naked.

He represeents and Oldnewstwist pixel artist and secondary developer of Deist Pixel Dungeon. He is hidden in a secret room in the back of Cooker M.O.S.' store. When the hero first meets him he says at the same time: "Ah! Please don't hurt me! I'm not like the other Gnolls you will find throughout the dungeon! Unlike the feral Gnoll you've encountered before, I'm from a clan of civilized, nomadic Gnoll. We travel from settlement to settlement in an attempt to spread our ways of peace and our tribal knowledge. I ended up here after being dragged away, from my group, by those rabid thugs that I am ashamed to call brethren.", and if the hero talks to him again, he will say: "Brr.. It is cold. Why did those goons have to rip up my clothes..?". Although it is not as obvious as the quests of the NPCs in the main dungeon, this is also a quest for the hero: he/she can help Oldnewstwist by defeating the Gnoll King challenge boss in the Treasure Map challenge depth, who always drops the Gnoll Clothes item.

Gnoll clothes Oldnewstwist NPC SPS-PD
Gnoll clothes
A small, delicate windbreaker. It doesn't seem to be the size of a human being.

When the hero meets Oldnewstwist with the Gnoll Clothes in the inventory, he will then say: "I heard you defeated the evil Gnoll King! That's great! He won't be terrorizing us anymore! Hey, did he have any clothes?" A game window appears asking for the hero to give him his clothes, and immediately afterwards the character's sprite changes to a more modest version and Oldnewstwist says: "These fine fibers will keep me very warm! Thank you for the clothes, and thank you again for defeating the evil Gnoll King." At the hero's next visit in Dolya Town he wil have already opened up a shop of his own that sells a single holiday weapon like a Christmas Tree, different in each hero's visit. When the hero interacts with him now, he will either repeat the just previous message, or he will say: "By the way, I'm selling out-of-season holiday weapons now." Note that Oldnewstwist is slightly inaccurate, as he sells randomly all of the game's holiday weapons, including the Pumpkin Lamp, which is on-season and is also sold in the depth 1 shop of the main dungeon. The only difference between the two pumpkin lamps is that Oldnewstwist sells all of his weapons for 2,500 gold, while the Pumpkin Lamp in the depth 1 shop costs only 500 gold. (see the weapons section for a full list of holiday weapons).

Oldnewstwist NPC clothed SPS-PD
Oldnewstwist
Now that he has the warmth of good clothing, he can comfortably begin some trading of his own.

All the weapons that Oldnewstwist sells are very interesting, as they refer to different world cultures and religions and give the game a multiethnic feel, which must certainly be applauded as a developer’s decision in general. Nevertheless, they are also all Tier 1 weapons, are sold for 2,500 gold each, and with one exception they have the lowest damage scaling with upgrades, +1/+1. So, by the time the hero will be able to kill the Gnoll King and give Oldnewstwist the Gnoll Clothes, he/she will have no practical use for any of these weapons, apart from decorating the Safe Room for Christmas, Halloween or the Chinese Spring Festival. The only holiday weapon with somewhat decent damage and scaling is the Toy Gun, (1-10, +1/+3), but it is sold 2,500 gold, when the Type B Pistol in the prison depth shop, which has very similar stats, is sold for 1,000 gold and is also available to the hero much earlier. Oldnewstwist is already in Dolya Town (naked) in the hero's first visit.

Ren

REN NPC SPS-PD
REN
He is a developer in China. He loves East Project, so he is mixing that into his Shattered mod. He is hard working.

He represents the developer of Touhou Pixel Dungeon, [1], (unfortuntely his mod is available only in chinese, and in english there only this post describing it). East Project is a translation of the Touhu Project game title, which a bullet hell shoot em' up video game, and from which Touhou Pixel Dungeon is mostly inspired. Along with Cooker M.O.S. and the Shopkeepers he is one of the most important NPCs of Dolya Town, as he is the one who provides the hero with the Challenge Book item, which is very important generally for each game's progress.

When the hero first meets Ren, he/she will most probably have in the inventory at least one challenge poster - page, and in this case Ren will say: "Nice to meet you, I'm Ren. You found my message on that challenge picture, right? Take this Challenge book, it can help you." If the hero does not have any portal in the inventory, Ren will say any the messages that follow, which also starts saying after he gives the Challenge Book to the hero: "If I have time, I will tell you a story about the best place in my world.", "Well, I like teas, no matter what tea it was." or he will ask "What does Usami-Renko mean?" (answer: she is a recurring character in the Touhou Project game series). If the hero later in the game completes the "100 enemies killed" goal in all four of the challenge depths and obtains all four reward bags, whenhe/she will see him again, Ren will say: "You have found all secrets in each challenge?! Take this, a weapon from my Touhou Project Pixel Dungeon. Well, it is only in Chinese language." and will give to the hero as a bonus reward for completing all challenges the Reimus Goei weapon. Otheriwise Ren will keep talking about teas, best places and Usami Renko, subjects that he will also return to after handing the Reimus Goei. Note that the hero doesn't have to keep the reward bags unopened and meet Ren with all of them in the backpack, just putting them in the inventory and then opening tham is considered by the game enough. The Reimus Goei is a unique weapon with interesting features that can't be obtained otherwise, but at the time the hero will have completed the "100 enemies killed" goal in all four challenge depths, the Reimus Goei mos tprobably will be too weak to be of use in fighting (for details about this weapon folow the link). Ren is already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

Secretary Kostis12345

Secretary Kostis12345 NPC SPS-PD
Secretary kostis12345
She is the secretary in this town, and she works very hard.

She represents reddit user kostis12345, who has contributed much in the writing od these SPS-PD wiki pages. She either asks the hero: "Did you see our mayor? We still have lots of things to do." or advises him/her: "If you have questions about the game, go to http://www.ixeldungeon.wikia.com and search for Special Surprise Pixel Dungeon. Come on Teletubby, teleport us to Mars." The Teletubbies and Mars conclusion is cerainly random, but also a catchphrase of the American drag queen Tammie Brown. She is already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

Shield Goblin

Shield Goblin NPC SPS-PD
Shield Goblin
A tester goblin, he holds a shield, an artifact from Unleashed Pixel Dungeon.

They are also a new NPC and represent another playtester of SPS-PD. When the hero interacts with them, they say: "It's a good world, but it's still too simple for Goblins." or "See this shield? It is full with chaos energy." The second message is a reference to the Shield of Wonder artifact of Goblin Pixel Dungeon, which is mistakenly described as being an artifact of Unleashed PD. They are already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

Top Shopkeeper

Shopkeeper
Shopkeeper
This stout guy looks more appropriate for a trade district in some large city than for a dungeon. His prices explain why he prefers to do business here.

Like the bottom Shopkeeper he also doesn't interact verbally with the hero, but only gives the option to the hero to sell items to him. Both of the Shopkeepers of Dolya Town start selling their merchandise only after the hero has obtained a level +12 or higher item. About his merchandise see shops section just below. He is already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

Treasure Hunter S.M.R.

Treasure Hunter S.M.R. NPC SPS-PD
Treasure hunter S.M.R.
A tester from another world. He is a demon eye.

He also represents an SPS-PD playtester. He appears only after the "All rings identified" badge is obtained, and is located in the left part of the Cooker M.O.S.' store. When the hero interacts with him, he says: "Hi, need some treasure?" or "I am not human. But I am a treasure hunter." He sells adamant items for 3,750 gold (wand), 5,000 gold (ring), 6,250 gold (weapon) and 7,500 gold (armor), but sometimes 10 pieces of dark gold for 250 gold (they are rather cheap and buying some is a convenient way to satisfy the Blacksmiths' demands more quickly.

TypedScroll

Typedscroll NPC SPS-PD
TypedScroll
This is the developer who has built LCPD. He looks like an error. [Note: Typescroll is displayed also with a normal sprite, but this instance fits his game description more.

He represents Typedscroll, the developer of Lovecraft Pixel Dungeon, which is mentioned in the game description, but also of other mods (Plugin, Statistics, Overgrown PDs) one of which he has published under the alias Anonymous PD. SPS-PD uses almost exactly the same sprite with the depiction of TypedScroll that is displayed in the "About" screen of his mod, it just adds an evil grin to his sprite and a distortion effect, to match his game description with a graphic glitch (his mods are rather notorious for their bugs). When the hero interacts with him, he says: "I'm TypedScroll, I don't know what should I say now." and "Have more confidence on my LCPD." (on a side note, you shouldn't have too much, as this mod is currently abandoned). He is located just next to the bottom Shopkeeper and is already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

XiXi0.12

Egoal NPCs SPS-PD
XiXi0.12
This is a cat who has built Darkest Pixel Dungeon.

This is also a new NPC. Although the cat is named XiXi0.12, its name could also be Egoal, as it represents the developer of Darkest Pixel Dungeon and uses the same sprite with the depiction of Egoal in his mod (he is Egoal the Cat there). When the hero interacts with him, he asks: "Meow, adventurer. A peaceful town, isn't it? I can‘t see any pressure in your face, because your journey is very easy? So my question is: Egoal is a good person, right?". The hero has the option to answer either: "Right" or "Who is he?". With the first answer the cat says: "I'm glad for your answer, but I don't have a present for you this time. Good luck." (in Darkest PD, the cat also asks this question and with any answer he gives some necessary items to the hero), and with the second answer the cat says: "Meow, do you know Darkest Pixel Dungeon? I hope you can go there to continue your adventure, You will do that, right? Good luck." XiXi0.12 will not ask the question again, and in all the following interactions with the hero he will just say: "Meow, I'm the developer of Darkest Pixel Dungeon, you can call me Egoal." He is already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

Top Right quarter NPCs - WIP

Top right quarter NPCs SPS-PD

Alive Fish

Albino Giant Piranha SPS-PD
Alive Fish
A fish man.

Although it has the sprite of Albino Giant Piranha, this is a friendly fish, which only says either: "Blub blub blub..." or "Bubble..." when the hero interacts with it. It is already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

Curse Ankh - Union hunter

Curse Ankh NPC SPS-PD
Curse Ankh
He is a demon hunter, as you see.

They represent a translator who helped translate Shattered PD in Chinese. When the hero interacts with them, they either say: ""Do you need a drink or pet food? Just kidding!" or shout: "Burn! Purify! For Sargeras' great expedition!", most probably a reference to the World of Warcraft Sargeras character, who is there the leader of the Burning Legion. He only appears in Dolya Town after Otiluke is rescued and the relevant badge is obtained.

Dachhack

Dachhack NPC SPS-PD
Dachhack
This is the developer who has built Sprouted Pixel Dungeon. He is still working, right?

A sprout with a halo above it, it represents Dachhack, the developer of Sprouted Pixel Dungeon. When the hero interacts with him, he says: "I'm Dachhack. Sorry for those bugs in Sprouted Pixel Dungeon that cause it to crash.", "New Sprouted is in test phase, just waiting for that." or "This halo...it refers to Deistic Pixel Dungeon, a mod baseed on Sprouted, I guess." Deistic Pixel Dungeon, an old but interesting mod of Sprouted PD. He is already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

Fruit Cat

Fruit Cat NPC SPS-PD
Fruit Cat
He is a merchant.

This NPC is hidden in the top right corner of Dolya Town at the end of a pathway behind a single burnable overgrown shrub that is directly behind a statue, so seeds of Firebloom or zaps with a wand of Firebolt can't destroy it, but only potions of Liquid Flame and Fire/Huge/Two bombs. He sells almost every special bomb type for 500 gold, mini, regular and two bombs for 250 gold, as well as Ankhs for 1,250 gold and scrolls of Regrowth for 2,500 gold. He won’t appear until the "250 enemies slain" badge is obtained. When the hero interacts with him, he says: "After Coconut left, I bought this shop and started selling bombs. For now this shop belongs to the Union." or "Believe it or not, Coconut had a bunch of Ankhs just lying around here before he left. He didn't even take any with him, he just left them in a pile to collect dust! Anyways, you'll probably need them more than I do."

G2159687

G2159687 NPC SPS-PD
G2159687
This is the developer who has built ESPD.

This octagon represents G2159687, the developer of Easier Sprouted Pixel Dungeon. When the hero interacts with him, he says: "I'm G2159687, do you love my ESPD?" or "I fixed some bugs in Sprouted and made it easier. I also built another version like EVPD, you know, easier." EVPD is Easier Vanilla Pixel Dungeon, another mod of this developer. Sometimes, when spoken to, he will not say the previous messages, but instead a game window will appear and he will ask: "Do you want to stay for one night in here? It only costs 100 goldpieces." After the hero defetas the Caves chapter boss this room will always contain four treasure chests (that usually have inside Dark Gold, but also Starflower seeds and common berries, so be sure to open them) and a bed that can be slept in to instantly restock empty tiles in the stores in Dolya Town, as the bed makes Dolya Town reload. Nevertheless, sleeping in the hotel room occasionally triggers a game-crashing bug that even deletes the run's save file, so take the key, open the chests, but don't sleep there. That key can also open the room that is located in the top left corner of Dolya Town and Locastan is standing outside of it, that also contains 3 chests which spwan after the Caves chapter boss is defeated, but does not allow sleeping - if the hero wants to open these too, he/she can just buy two keys. He is already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

Honey Poooot

Honey Pooot NPC SPS-PD
Honey Poooot
A sophisticated adventurer, assistant to the trade union chairman, is responsible for helping with various trade union tasks, including the testing of various new items.

This a new NPC. When the hero interacts with them, they say: "See that black cat? He is my leader." (they refer to Rawberry, who is located in the same room with them), or "This is honey cap, not a robe." They are already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

Jinkeloid - Union president

Jinkeloid NPC SPS-PD
Jinkeloid - Union President
She is the Union President, some kind of ice element.

She represents a translator of Remixed Dungeon and Shattered PDs in Chinese. When the hero interacts with her, she says: "Now the union is just a tourist spot. Welcome here.", and "In this place, freezing by ice will make you take more damage." Note that there is not a damage multiplier in effect while the hero is frozen, so she most probably means that frozen heroes can receive some hits without fighting back or escaping to safety. She is already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

Juh9870

Juh9870 NPC SPS-PD
Juh9870
Developer of Moonshine Pixel Dungeon.

He represents the Juh9870, one of the developers of Moonshine Pixel Dungeon. When the hero interacts with him he says: "Dreams are forbidden, said my grandpa, who also brewed good moonshine." and "So... Well, I hope I can find more things in here." The part of the message mentioning that dreams are forbidden is a reference to two withdrawn mods that Juh9870 was involved with, Dreamful PD and Forbidden PD. He is already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

Otiluke

Otiluke Sprouted PD
Otiluke
Otiluke, a great wizard from Dolya Town. You can ask from him a reward.

As expected, he only appears after the hero defeats the final boss Zot, and the "Otiluke rescued!" badge is obtained. He is an NPC already familiar from the Sprouted PD lore. When the hero first meets him in Dolya Town in end-game, Otiluke will say: "Finally, after so much time, I see my hometown again!" and "I will help you to enter the Tower, if you want.", but if the hero insists in bugging him, he will finally respond: "Ok, I know what you want, take this counterfeit Amulet. I had to give the real one to the Tower, but don't worry, this works the same way, and I have more if you need them". If the hero continues to talk to him, he will give another amulet, and another amulet etc. As he said, they are fake and he has many.

Pet Dealer Lery

Pet dealer Lery SPS-PD
Pet Dealer Lery
He is another element of this Union. He is good at training pets.

He represents another translator of Pixel Dungeon. He looks very much like the Newborn Fire Elemental enemy from one of Shattered PD’s Old Wandmaker quests and shares the same sprite with the Chaos Elemental pet of SPS-PD. He opens his shop only after the hero has already released 5 pets (unlike previous versions of SPS-PD just using Souls of Mobs without hatching and releasing pets, for example by wasting them, doesn't affect the "pets released" counter) and he/she has obtained the "Summoned 5 pets!" badge. When the hero interacts with him, he either asks: "Are you cool?" or says "I sell eggs here." He sells either a specific pet card with a ready-to-get-released pet (for example a Soul of Web or a Soul of Green Dragon) or a Random Soul, all for 12,500 gold each, or a Soul of Mobs for 1,250 gold. His shop is the only way for the hero to acquire all year an Easter Bunny pet by buying a Soul of Rabbit (in the code he is supposed to sell randomly also the rare Soul of Cat, which releases a Bomb Cat pet, but this does not seem to be happening in current SPS-PD). The player should have in mind that when Lery sells a specific Soul of Pet, sometimes the name of the soul is not identical with the name of the pet: Soul of Chaos the Chaos Elemental, Soul of Rabbit the Bunny of Easter Egg, Soul of Web the Web Spider etc.

Rawberry - Chairman of the Union

Rawberry NPC SPS-PD
Rawberry - Chairman of the Union
She is the Chairman of the Union.

She represents a translator who helped translate Shattered and Remixed PD in Chinese and who is also the administrator of the biggest Pixel Dungeon-related Chinese Tencent QQ community. She is also the more poetically-inclined NPC of Dolya Town. She looks like a cat but claims: "I am a magical princess from another dimension." and also says: "Friendship is magic!" and "The world's still the same, there's just...less in it." He is already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

Shattered Flame Blast

Shattered Flame Blast NPC SPS-PD
Shattered Flame Blast
He is a fire mage.

He represents another translator of Pixel Dungeon. He either shouts "Me!" aggressively or says: "I want to burn something!", or "If a target be burning, it will move fast." (he is right, the Burning debuff increases speed by +25%). He is already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

The Mayor Noodlemire

Mayor Noodlemire NPC SPS-PD
The Mayor Noodlemire
He is the mayor in this town. He also wrote a book about the chancel.

He is the depiction of reddit user Noodlemire , who is the developer of Chancel Pixel Dungeon (and not an author of a book about chancels), and who has also contributed much in the writing of the SPS-PD wiki pages. He first welcomes the hero to Dolya Town and introduces himself as the Mayor. In early levels he will then say to the hero to come back again later to find more things, but from mid-game until end-game he repeats that Dolya Town used to be a great town, but because of the enviromental pollution a lot of people have left. He is one of the few NPCs that exist also in Sprouted PD's Dolyahaven, put only as a plain Villager. He is already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

Uncle S.

Uncle S. NPC SPS-PD
Uncle S.
He is one strong man in Union.

He represents early administrator of a Chinese Sprouted PD forum and appears after the "3 potions cooked" badge is obtained. He sells enhancing pills (Magic pill, Power pill, Smash pill etc.) for 1,250 gold each, one in every hero's visit, items than can be obtained otherwise only by using a +6 Alchemist's Toolkit, as all their recipes require 4 slots in the alchemy pot. He only asks the hero if he/she wants any training.

Bottom Half NPCs

Bottom half NPCs SPS-PD

ARealMan

ARealMan NPC SPS-PD

He loves alchemy and collects indepedent games. He is still in the Union.

He represents an actual Chinese game collector, and appears like Uncle S. after the "3 potions cooked" badge is obtained. He is located in the secret room below the garden of high grass at the bottom right corner of Dolya Town. When the hero interacts with him he says nothing, but an interface which is identical to that of the alchemy pots appears, with the title "Wonderful experiments from ARealMan" and the following instructions: "Put three rings in here to create a random artifact. It will cost 1,000 gold pieces." The hero can put three rings into the slots and after paying 1,000 gold he/she will get a random artifact. Keep in mind that the level of the rings doesn't affect at all the quality of the artifact and it is always at level 0, so it is better to use only unupgraded rings for this purpose.

He looks like a pixel art version of Jason Voorhees from the "Friday the 13th" film series and drops a pice of chargrilled meat when the hero first talks to him, saying: "Take this meat, my friend". In the next interactions with the hero he will either say: "It's said that the town had had a glorious time, with a lot of magic ore exports, which brought considerable income to the town. But all this was over before Otiluke was ready to go." or "I was doing a project about the relationship between crystal movement and man-made mining. Unfortunately, there was a dragon in the mine site, and then I couldn't get into the mine cave." The scolnd message is a warning about the Violet Dragon hidden in the bottom left corner f Dolya Town. By the way, It's not the first time we meet, right?" / "It's not the elements, but their controllers make them evil." / "My colours are strange? Bro, they are just RGB." / "Remember, the past is never dead, it's not even past." / "Se Neh Gep Dyus! Uo Sh Yuh! Nat Sh Yuh!" / "There are still some glitches in this world. In Dolya Town she says: "I have fixed that altar. You can use it now." and also asks: "What should I do next?" Her first message refers to the pedestal inside the Dolya Town temple, which can be used in transforming Magic Stones to tier 6 Relic weapons.

It is already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

Tempest102

Tempest102 NPC SPS-PD
Tempest102
He is a translator and a musician.

Although this NPC was existing also in previous versions of SPS-PD, in the current version he has been relocated and has opened a shop, so he is much more important for the hero (his game description has also been changed). He represents another translator of Pixel Dungeon and he also appears after the hero has obtained the "Level 40 reached" badge. When the hero interacts with him he says: "I only had a tent in the past, but now I have my own shop." and "Welcome to my instrument studio. Do you want to buy anything?". In each hero's visit his shop sells 3 items, which either are weapons with the resonance attribute (they all look like musical instruments, so they justify his shop's description as a musical studio), all for 2,500 gold each regardless of tier, or scroll-like items that can boost the hero's Accuracy, Dexterity, or Magic Power by one point each, and are titled "Learn How to Attack", "Learn How to Dodge", and "Learn How to Use Magic". He sells the scroll-like items for 1,250 (Attack), 2,500 gold (Dodge) and 5,000 gold (Magic) each. Note that Tempest102 sells these items randomly and in one hero's visit he might be selling only resonance weapons and in another only "Learn how to..." items. The scroll-like items used to get sold by Trainer Rain in previous versions of SPS-PD, but that does not happen anymore.

Trainer Rain

Trainer Rain NPC SPS-PD
Trainer Rain
A trainer who is ready for battle.

This NPC has also been changed in the current version of SPS-PD and has passed the shop he had in precvious versions to Tempest102, so he has become less important for the hero. He represents another translator of Shattered PD in chinese and also appears after the hero has obtained the "Level 40 reached" badge, along with the passive Test Mob below him, and Rustyblade to the left of him. When spoken to, he advises the hero: "Check your DPS on that scarecrow." or asks: "Want to train yourself?" Trainer Rain does not specify which one of the scarecrows below him is "that scarecrow", but in any case heroes should attack the passive Test Mob directly below Trainer Rain and not the aggressive Clockwork Scarecrow below him and to his right, as the Clockwork Scarecrow will also check it DPS on the hero.

Udawos

Udawos NPC SPS-PD
Udawos
This is the developer who has built Pioneer. He seems like that he is doing his job now.

He represents Udawos, the developer of the game Pioneer, a sci-fi spinoff of Pixel Dungeon, which uses many of its assets but it is not a rogualike, and also of Chernog:Fortress of the Mad Admiral RPG. When the hero interacts with him, he says: "I'm Udawos, have you ever played my Pioneer before? My new game is Chernog: FOMTMA. You can download it in google play store.", and also "In fact, Pioneer is not a Roguelike game. Rather, it is an RPG." (which is an accurate description). UNIST HeXA

Unist Hexa NPC SPS-PD
UNIST HeXA
This is the developer of UNIST Pixel Dungeon... I have never heard about this mod...

When the hero interacts with it, it says: "I'm HeXA,the developer of UNIST Pixel Dungeon.I think you have never heard about that mod before." and "It can only be downloaded in South Korea, but you can find the code in github." Note that this information is inaccurate, and UNIST Pixel Dungeon is available in the Google Play Store for all countries. It is already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

Watabou

Watabou NPC SPS-PD
Watabou
this is the developer who has built the original Pixel Dungeon from the ground up... Amazing...

This friendly alien represents Watabou, the developer of Original Pixel Dungeon, and is exactly the same sprite that Watabou uses for himself in the "About" screen of his game. He appears only after one of the Metropolis chapter bosses get defeated by the hero and for some unknown reason he spawns in a wall. When the hero interacts with him, he says: "I'm Watabou, still here in spirit even if I haven't updated Pixel Dungeon in about three years." (the years are actually four), and "Pixel Dungeon isn't my only game. You should try the other ones I have made, like Patient Rogue."

Ømicrónrg9

Omicronrg9 NPC SPS-PD
Ømicrónrg9
This long-haired human seems to be a crusader of the old times, but he is actually a Scholar who restlessly researches for different worlds in this big universe. He's here because Honey brought him, and he is collecting data about this world and sharing information about other worlds. He has not slept well so he may be aggresive.

He represents a reddit user who has spent a considerable amount of time in the documentation of all Pixel Dungeon mods and this wiki's mods catalogue owes a good part of its completeness to his "Mods Charts" project. When the hero interacts with him, he randomly says: "Be cautious with the piranhas. They are dangerous when unarmored." / "Hey! Out of my way, I have no time for this nonsense. My mod tree won't be made by itself!" / "Hope is still an illusion!" / "My left eye got burnt because of excessive time spent at the computer, searching for new mods. It was a needed sacrifice."" / "There are 24 Pixel Dungeon mods which start with P. This is not a joke!" / "This world takes stuff from around 9 different worlds! Isn't that amazing?" He wanders already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

Dream Player

Dream Player NPC SPS-PD
Dream Player
A tester, an element, and colourful. [Note that their sprite changes colors rapidly like a kaleidoscope and their eyes move around, but this could not be depicted with a still image.]

They also represent a playtester of SPS-PD. They are the most laconic NPC of Dolya Town as they either say "Funny!" or ask "Funny?" They are also the only moving NPC that does not appear in Dolya Town from the hero's first visit, but along with Pet Dealer Lery only after the hero has released 5 pets and obtained the relevant badge.

Maintainer S.O.F.S.

He represents an early SPS-PD playtester. When he is spoken to, he either says: "Guest, may I delay you for a moment to talk about our heavenly father, Kesulu?", "Many things that the dreamer and the day know are often forgotten by the dreamer at night.", or "Well, there lots of things I need fix. I am tired with this..: Kesulu is most probably a reference to the chinese pronounciation of H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulu. He wanders already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

SadSaltan

Sadsaltan NPC SPS-PD
SadSaltan
The draftsman of Moonshine Pixel Dungeon. The name "Moonshine" is hung on his clothes.

He represents Sadsaltan, one of the developers of Moonshine Pixel Dungeon. When the hero interacts with him, he either says: "Oh. New wanderer in this dungeon? People do not often show up here. Here all become either rich or dead. When a man has got money in his pocket, he begins to appreciate peace.", "By the way, if you'll pass by the city - visit my saloon! It's easy to find saloon, just say 'Moonshine Dungeon' and the locals will show you the way.", or "Take my business card, maybe I can offer you a drink in my bar." (the card is in text only and does not spawn in the hero's inventory). His sprite is faithful adapatation of the male Gunslinger class of Moonshine PD. She also represents a SPS-PD playtester. When spoken to she either says: "Nice to meet you, I am shower. You also can call me Mumu.", "See the pond on the East side?", or "Here is a beautiful town, with lots of people. I think I'll spend some time in here." She wanders already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit.

Dolya Town Shops

All shops are restocked in every hero’s visit and their empty tiles, after the hero has bought an item, are refilled once after the hero sleeps in the hotel room. Nevertheless, sleeping in the hotel room occasionally triggers a game-crashing bug that even deletes the run's save file, so but don't sleep there.

ARealMan

ARealMan NPC SPS-PD

This is specifically an exchange store. The RealMan appears after the hero has brewed 3 potions and when the hero interacts with him an interface which is identical to that of the alchemy pots appears, with the title "Wonderful experiments from A Real Man" The hero can put three rings into the interface's slots and after paying 1,000 gold he/she will get a random artifact. Keep in mind that the level of the rings doesn't affect at all the quality of the artifact and it is always at level 0, so it is better to use only unupgraded rings for this purpose.

Bottom shopkeeper / Shop with Typedscroll

Typedscroll NPC SPS-PD

The shop is located at the center of the left corner of Dolya Town and opens after a +12 item has been obtained. It sells scrolls of Upgrade and Magical Infusion for 2,500 gold, Magic Stones for 1,250 gold, all weapons and armors regardless of tier or rarity for 2,500 gold when unenchanted and for 3,750 gold when enchanted, and all wands and rings for 1,875 gold (it never sells guns though). It also sells randmoly thrown weapons in various prices, depending on their amount. Like they do in the regular dungeon, unidentified scrolls cost less than the identified ones, but in this shop both scrolls are rare, so around mid-game, after the shop starts to sell items and if the hero had not used/identified the scrolls of Upgrade or Magical Infusion yet, he/she can buy these scrolls here for only 500 gold. It is the only place in the dungeon that the hero can find a Runic Blade, and also the only place he/she will find more Magic Stones than the 6 that Golems drop as loot.

Cooker M.O.S.’ shop

Cooker M.O.S. NPC SPS-PD

It is located at the top right of Dolya Town and opens after the hero has eaten 40 food items. It sells various food items, both found/dropped in the dungeon or produced only through cooking. Nevertheless it does not sell raw materials like plain monster meat, mystery meat or their grilled/frozen version and it desn't also sell plain Honey or mushrooms. The recipes for some of the most powerful cooked items (Hamburger, Perfect food) require a +10 Alchemist’s Toolkit, so the hero might find here very valuable food items there that he/she can’t obtain otherwise. Its prices are totally random: rather valuable food items like Foamed Beverage or Ice Cream are sold from 50 to 100 gold and other rather useless and easily produced like Gel for 1,250 - also most food items that contain Honey are sold for 12,500 gold, but not always. Pet Food is not sold here, but in the top shop.

Fruit Cat shop

Fruit Cat NPC SPS-PD

It sells every special Bomb type for 500 gold, mini, regular and two bombs for 250 gold, as well as Ankhs for 1,250 gold and scrolls of Regrowth for 2,500 gold. Like they do in the regular dungeon, unidentified scrolls cost less than the identified ones, so after the Fruit Cat appears the hero can buy scrolls of Regrowth here for only 500 gold, as it is the only scroll the Fruit Cat sells. The Fruit Cat appears after 250 enemies have been killed.

Oldnewstwist’s shop

Oldnewstwist NPC clothed SPS-PD

It is located in a secret room in the back of Cooker M.O.S.' store and opens after Oldnewstwist’s quest is completed. It will sell a single holiday weapon for 2,500 gold each time the hero visits Dolya Town. It is the only place in the dungeon for the hero to find off-season holiday weapons, but none of them will be actually useful to the hero, at the point that he/she will fullfill Oldnewstwist's quest.

Pet Dealer Lery’s shop

Pet dealer Lery SPS-PD

It is located just next to the Alive Fish, in the pool at the top left of Dolya Town, and opens after 5 pets have been released from Souls of Mobs or Random Souls (unlike previous versions of SPS-PD just using a Soul of Mobs by wasting it doesn't affect the pet counter). It sells pet cards with specific ready-to-get-released pets (for example a Soul of Violet Dargeon that can only summon a Violet Dragon), a Random Soul like the one that comes in the starting hero’s inventory, or a common Soul of Mobs. These are always sold one-at-a-time and all at the cost of 12,500 gold each, even the Random Soul, with the only exception of the Soul of Mobs that costs 1,250 gold. His shop is the only way for the hero to acquire an Easter Bunny pet all year, by buying a Soul of Rabbit. The player should have in mind that when Lery sells a specific pet card, sometimes the name of the soul is not identical with the name of the pet: Soul of Chaos releases the Chaos Elemental, Soul of Rabbit the Bunny of Easter Egg, Soul of Web the Web Spider etc.

Tempest102

Tempest102 NPC SPS-PD

This is a new shop and is located at the bottom right of Dolya town. It appears after the hero reaches level 40. It sells 3 items each time, which either are weapons with the resonance attribute, all for 2,500 gold each regardless of tier, or scroll-like items that can boost the hero's Accuracy, Dexterity, or Magic Power by one point each, and are titled "Learn How to Attack", "Learn How to Dodge", and "Learn How to Use Magic". It sells the scroll-like items for 1,250 (Attack), 2,500 gold (Dodge) and 5,000 gold (Magic) each. Note that the shop sells these items randomly and in one hero's visit it might be selling only resonance weapons and in another only "Learn how to..." items

Top shopkeeper / Shop with Nyrdie

Nyrdie NPC SPS-PD

The shop is at the top left corner of Dolya Town and opens after a +12 item is obtained. It sells various items at various prices: regular Potion and regular Scroll prices range from 500 to 1,000 gold (this shop doesn't sell rare scrolls), berries or mushrooms cost from 125 to 250 gold, seeds 250 gold, but Pet Food and nut-related food items only 25 gold. Note that It is the only shop in the dungeon that the very useful in recipes but rare ingredients Nut and Eatable Nut Plant are sometimes sold, only for 25 gold. A Mr. Destructo, Fairy Card, Control Mobile and a Lantern of Soul Collect cost the most, 2,500 gold and the Soul of Mobs is also expensive, as it costs 1,250 gold, the same price that Pet Dealer Lery also sells it.

Treasure Hunter S.M.R.

Treasure Hunter S.M.R. NPC SPS-PD

It appears after the hero ha sidentified all ring types and is located in the left part of the Cooker M.O.S.' store. It sells most often one adamant item each time, for 3,750 gold (wand), 5,000 gold (ring), 6,250 gold (weapon) and 7,500 gold (armor), but sometimes 10 pieces of dark gold for 250 gold.

Enemies

Clockwork Scarecrow

Scarecrow SPS-PD
Clockwork Scarecrow
This scarecrow is dangerous. Don't touch it.

It is already in Dolya Town in the hero's first visit, much before the appearance of Trainer Rain and the Test Mob. This scarecrow will attack the moment it is engaged, but it isn't capable of dealing much damage, so if its tens of thousands of HP turn out to be too much to handle, it'll only become an inconvenience to the specific visit in Dolya Town, as it also causes the Elecrostatic Turbulence and the Disarm debuffs. On the first time it is killed, it drops the Portable Scarecrow, a container that holds up to 22 different weapons, melee or missile, and also armors, if the Test Mob has not dropped it already. It is particularly vulnerable to electricity damage and Wands of Lightning. Nevertheless, the passive Test Mob is a far easier opponent and will just need patience until its thousands of HP run out, so players should just wait for their hero to reach level 40.

  • Mechanical
  • It is located at the bottom left ovorner of Dolya Town. It remains passive until attacked.
  • HP: 100,000 (not a typo)
  • Damage: 5. It deals most of its damage with its debuffs.
  • Accuracy: 100
  • Armor, Evasion: 0
  • Can have Attack Up and Defense Up buffs, has a ranged attack and can cause the 50% Armor Break for 10 turns and the Electrostatic Turbulence/Disarm debuffs to the hero.
  • It has no resistances but takes increased damage from Electricity (Shock enchantment, Storm bomb etc.) and the wand of Lightining.
  • Drops always a Portable Scarecrow bag, if it has not aleady been dropped from the Test Mob. If it has been dropped, the Clockwork Scarecrow drops nothing.
  • As the Test Mob doesn't fight back and also drops the Portable Scarecrow, the Clockwork Scarecrow should be better left at its peace.

Dungeon Guard

Dungeon Guard SPS-PD
Dungeon Guard
Guard Dungeon is summoned by someone, but in people's eyes it is the same as in normal dungeon.

Another enemy with tons of HP, a blue dragon that comes with a hefty ranged attack that deals poison damage, but fortunately cannot use in melee range. It's the only legitimate safety threat in Dolya Town, but it can only attack if its rest is disturbed in the former Dolyahaven Mines Entrance, hidden behind some burnable overgrown bushes in the bottom left corner of the village. On death, it drops the BossRush book, a teleportation item that can take the hero to the BossRush depth. A guide about beating the Guardian Dragon in early levels can be found here.

Bossrush portal SPS-PD
Boss Rush
This is an uncompleted bossrush. You can try to fight with those new bosses.

  • Dragon Boss
  • New enemy. It is sort of located in the border between BossRush and Dolya Town, as it drops in Dolya Town the book that teleports to the BossRush depth.
  • HP: 8,000
  • Damage: 60-80
  • Accuracy: 50
  • Armor: 20-50
  • Evasion: 40
  • Speed: 1.5
  • Its ranged attack also Poisons, which deals heavy damage due to the increased depth. In melee range it does not poison so its attacks are much weaker.
  • Resistant to Poison, Toxic Gas, and the Dark enchantment.
  • XP: 10
  • Drops always the BossRush challenge book, the portal to BossRush Challenge.

Giant Piranhas

Piranha gif
Giant Piranha
These carnivorous fish are not natural inhabitants of underground pools. They were bred specifically to protect flooded treasure vaults.

Two spawn in each hero's visit in the pool above the bottom right corner of Dolya Town after one of the Caves chapter bosses is defeated. In early levels they are very hard to get hit with melee attacks without an Attack Up buff or a highly upgraded ring of Accuracy/Sharpshooting, but can't resist getting pulled by Ethereal Chains or getting zapped by wands.

Piranhas Dolya Town SPS-PD
  • Beast
  • 2 of them always appear in Dolya Town in the southeast pool, after the depth 20 chapter boss is defeated, and respawn in every hero's new visit.
  • HP: 315
  • Damage: 55-114
  • Accuracy: 130
  • Armor: 0-55
  • Evasion: 120
  • Speed: 1.5
  • Immune to Burning, Corruption, Freezing, Paralyis, Rooting, and Toxic Gas (this does not mean that it does not take damage from enchanted weapons or the relevant wands, just that it is immune to their debuffs)
  • XP: 5
  • Drops always meat and a Violet Dew Drop.

Test Mob

Scarecrow SPS-PD
Scarecrow
Test Mob

It spawns below Trainer Rain, who appears after the hero reaches level 40 (it never appears by itself without the Trainer). Not exactly an enemy as It is completely passive and won't attack unless some AI-altering effect like Rage is applied to it. It has tens of thousands of HP and drops the Portable Scarecrow container if the Clockwork Scarecrow has not dropped it aleady. Due to its passivity, it is a far better candidate than the Clockwork Scarecrow for the hero to fight, in order to obtain the container. It is particularly vulnerable to Fire damage.

  • Plant
  • It is located below Trainer Rain to the left. It remains passive even when attacked and can only become aggressive by reading a scroll of Rage.
  • HP: 100,000 (not a typo)
  • Damage: 1
  • Accuracy: 100
  • Armor, Evasion: 0
  • Takes increased damage from Burning, the wand of Firebolt and the Test Weapon. Immune to Amok, Charm, Sleep, Terror, Vertigo.
  • Drops always a Portable Scarecrow bag, if it has not aleady been dropped from the Clockwork Scareccrow. If it has been dropped, the Test Mob drops nothing.
  • As the Test Mob doesn't fight back and also drops the Portable Scarecrow, it should be preferred as the hero's target.

Tomb - Wraiths

Tomb
Tomb
This ancient tomb may contain something useful, but its owner will most probably objet to checking.

It appears along with Watabou, after one of the Metropolis chapter bosses is defeated by the hero, and spawns four Wraiths like all disturbed tombs (the tomb usually drops a piece of Dark Gold and any other item that is found in the Dolya Town chests more rarely, but always drops something). The tomb appears in every visit in Dolya Town, even when it was destroyed in the just previous visit, and it is the only place in SPS-PD that can be farmed for scrolls of Magical Infusion and Upgrade (although in a limited way, as the Dolya Slate needs 500 turns to charge for one visit in Dolya Town).

Wraith
A wraith is a vengeful spirrit of a sinner, whose grave or tomb was disturbed. Being an ethereal entity, it is very hard to hit with a regular weapon.
  • Undead
  • A group of 4 will appear after the tombstone at the south east corner of Dolya Town is disturbed.
  • HP: 56
  • Damage: 1-58
  • Accuracy: 65
  • Evasion: 325
  • Has a ranged attack that causes Terror and Vertigo.
  • Immune to Amok, Burning (not wands of Firebolt), Charm, Dark enchantment, Freezing (not wands of Frost), PAralysis, Sleep, scroll of Psionic Blast, Rooting, Terror, Toxic Gas, Vertigo.
  • Without a highly upgraded ring of Accuracy or Sharpshooting equipped, they are very evasive to get hit or shot by the hero, but a single use of the Ankh Shield will stun the 4 wraiths spawned from a tombstone for enough turns for the huro to take them down easily. Upgraded wands of Lighting due to their chain effect can also take down a group of 4 Wraiths with one or two zaps.
  • XP: 1
  • Without the hero having a Lucky Badge equipped, it has a 6% chance to drop a scroll of Magical Infusion and a 9% chance to drop a scroll of Upgrade.

Spring Festival Town - currently unavailable

[The Spring Festival Town page used to get dropped from Yog-Dzewa after being defeated in the previous "Epic Battle 3: Spring Festival" version of SPs-PD. This particular Dolya Slate depth is meant to appear only in the period of the year when the Chinese New Year / Spring Festival is celebrated in the final version of SPS-PD, but in the current version it is unavailable. As the developer's plan is to have the town as a recurring feature of his mod, the following section remains in the wiki, but players of the current version should not take the following section into account.]

The Spring Festival Town is almost as big as Dolya Town (although 2/3 of its space is occupied by a huge "2019 Spring Festival" sign made by red marble - the 2019 part, and red overgrown shrubs - the spring festival part) but with half of Dolya town's population, no quests and with two little shops that sell one thing each. Half of the NPCs of Dolya Town appear here also, all saying the same things they say in Dolya Town. Secretary kostis12345 has a small shop in the northwest that sells one different item in each hero's visit: rings for 1,875 gold and artifacts for 2,500 gold (this is the only shop in the dungeon that sells randomly but neverthesless regularly artifacts - unlike regular shopkeepers, she doesn't buy items from the hero). The other shopkeeper, Coconut, doesn't appear in Dolya Town and sells here random regular items with the same prices that are sold in Dolya Town. Lastly, in the southeast part of Spring Festival Town there is a small column titled "Thank list" that every time the hero interacts with it, it will mention randomly the name of a person that the developer wishes to thank for his/her help in developing his mod. Spring Festival Town has only three unique NPCs:

  • Coconut, a metal cat that keeps a small shop in the soutth of Festival Town, which sells one regular item in each hero's visit. It says that it is thinking of summoning a new hero, but it is not sure about it, that It had spent a lot of time to build this place, and that it still has a shop in here. It offers regular scrolls and potions from 500 to 1,000 gold, wands for 1,875 gold, weapons and armor for 2,500 gold, and generally has the same prices with the Dolya Town shops, but it doesn't sell rare iitems, and unlike regular shopkeepers it doesn't buy items from the hero.
  • Hmdz001, the developer of this game, who is nevertheless described as a player and not a developer, and who tries to fix some error in this world. He is located in a room at the south of the town, hidden behind some burnable overgrown bushes that their arrangement makes the hero need 4 potions of Liquid Flame or bombs to free the way for him (there is no practical reason for the hero to meet him, nevertheless it is nice meeting the developer of the game you are playing). He asks the player if he/she had seen his cat, Coconut, which is cute and is made from metal, and informs him/her that this town's purpose is to celebrate the Chinese Spring Festival, and although he knows that he and and the player have different cultures and histories, this is just one part of the game. Apparently the developer is addressing the engish speaking gamers community, as there is also a chinese version of SPS-PD, in which this statement would not make much sense.
  • You, a question mark that sometimes becomes an arabic reversed question mark and only says: "It is you. / It is just you." It wanders around Spring Festival Town.
