The Scroll of Psionic Blast is an aggressive scroll.

Obtaining
The Scroll of Psionic Blast can be found randomly at normal depths (not in boss floors) and in shops, or as a random drop from Gnoll shaman.
When read
The Blinded debuff is applied to the Hero and to all enemies in the Hero’s field-of-view (including enemies revealed by a Potion of Mind Vision), for a duration of 3 to 6 turns.
In addition, all those enemies receive random damage in 1 to totalHealth×2/3.
Reading a Scroll of Psionic Blast
Tips
- Use it as a finishing attack, when you're certain that being Blinded won't cost you the Hero's life.
- This is best used with a Potion of Mind Vision to damage all of the enemies on the current depth and to see the enemies' location when the Hero is blinded. Otherwise, it's not worth using to harm enemies around the Hero's vicinity when s/he can pick them off one by one in a nearby corridor. Be sure to have a way to heal yourself after using the scroll, so it doesn't keep you too close for comfort.
