    • Updated ghost dialogue.

0.2.3 was the followup to 0.2.0 tweaking existing artifacts and adding 4 new ones. It also brought donations to Shattered PD with minor ingame benefits for supporters.

  • Blandfruit changes
    • Previously harmful balndfruit variants now grant a unique buff for 30 turns.
    • Fire Imbued (Firefruit) grants fire immunity and makes your attack ignite enemies.
    • Earth Imbued (Earthfruit) grants slow, root and paralysis immunity and makes your attack root enemies.
    • Toxic Imbue (Sorrowfruit) grants toxic gas and poison immunity and makes the Hero emit toxic gas.
  • Healing Potion farming nerf
    • Obtaining a Potion of Healing from a mob drop or alchemy now reduces the chance of getting a PoH from the same source again for the rest of the run.
    • PoH drop chance from Vampire Bats increased to 16.67% up from 12.5%.
    • PoH drop chance from Scorpios increased to 20% up from 12.5%.
    • PoH drop chance from Swarms of Flies now drops less drastically when the swarm splits.
  • Invisibility is now interrupted when the Hero attacks with a missile weapon.
  • Ring of Evasion now increases stealth like the Ring of Shadows used to, effective level of the ring decreases every turn if an enemy sees the Hero and increases (up to actual level) if the Hero remains unseen.
  • Ring of Force now deals (str - 8)/2 + lvl to ((str - 8)*0.5*lvl) + (str - 8)*2 instead of 1 + lvl to str - 8 + (lvl * (heroLvl/5)
  • Improved the way the game handles corrupted save files.
  • The Hero now stops walking upon taking any damage except starvation damage.
  • Pressing the continue button now prevents the Hero from getting interrupted again until they reach the selected tile.

  • Unarmored Rogue now gains evasion as if he was wearing unupgraded cloth armor.
  • Freerunner no longer has bonus evasion, but his movement speed bonus is doubled when invisible.

  • Attack indicator now remains untouchable for the first 0.5s to reduce missclicks.

0.2.4 (2015/02/23) - Source update 2[]

0.2.4 mainly implemented new features from vanilla PD, as versions v1.7.3, v1.7.4, and v1.7.5 became open source. Item degradation wasn't implemented as it was largely disliked by the community. The update also expanded shops and made gold a bit more plentiful.

    • Forbidden Runes - A new challenge which removes all scrolls except Scrolls of Upgrade
    • Bomb - When thrown, it explodes after a short delay damaging creatures and destroying items in 3x3 radius.
    • Honeypot - When thown, it turns into a Shattered Honeypot and spawns a Bee which protects it.
    • Golden Bee - A new creature which doesn't spawn naturally, only from Honeypots. It has short detection range and it's agressive towards all creatures excluding other bees.
    • Mimic - Indistinguishable from a chest when dormant, comes alive when interacted with.
    • Shocking enchantment - When it procs, the attack deals around 25% bonus damage, which spreads to nearby enemies.
  • Potion Bandolior - A new container which holds potions and protects them from freezing.

    • Wands now get autoidentified after a number of usages.
    • Signs in Demon Halls now burst into flames when you try to read them.
    • Randomly generated chests now have a 20% chance to be a Mimic unless on floor 1.

    • Succubus's now charm target for 3-7 turns up from 2-5.
    • Glyph of Affection now charms attacker for 3-7 turns up from 2-5.
    • Hero now drops random items from inventory during death animation.
