  • Since I don't know which farming techniques were used in the past that are no longer available today, I am having a hard time looking for a way to upgrade enchanted equipments. So far, I've read that using a Scroll of Upgrade on enchanted weapons would upgrade it but have a chance to take off the enchantment and that the chance would get higher as the + gets higher as well?.. Only Scroll of Weapon Upgrade would have 100% safety for keeping enchantment when upgrading but this needs Scroll of Upgrade (limited and not seen in shops) and a Transmutation Well (very rare)

Is there a guide on farming upgrades (if possible) or any tips in upgrading enchanted weps?

    - so far, im loving the +5 glaive I have.

    P.S.

Until what + is the maximum for upgrading?

    • Here is the formula for it:

      N = Number of upgrades

      1/N (1 if N = 0)

This is also on the Enchanted Weapons section of Weapons page

    • uh yup saw it. Any tips about getting your hands to those fully upgraded enchanted weps? (since scrolls of wep upgrade for +3 to max or at least +5 seems impossible for now)

    • 1. Get lucky on finding a +3 enchanted weapon.

      2. Upgrade weapon to +4 and use a Weapon Upgrade scroll.

      3. Get lucky on upgrading an enchanted weapon without losing enchantment.

    • I read a LOT of luckies there. owell. >.>

BTW, Is it just me or the reforge feature of the game was already removed? Cuz I can no longer see the reforge button for my upgraded equips.

    • I rewrote the Upgrading enchanted weapons section, I hope it’s now clearer (please improve it if necessary).

I moved and improved the Reforging/disenchanting section, the Short sword reforging trick being now more visible I hope. Thanks to this trick, you can upgrade an enchanted weapon to +3 without any risk (if a 50 % risk is too high for you).

    • I do the following:

      1.Find a normal weapon that I like

2.Upgrade it normally until it's the level I would like

3.Save one scroll for later when I find well or go back if I have found a well on higher depths

      4. Make scroll and enchant

This way you'll get the weapon you want exactly

From what you said I take it that you will be able to enchant a normal item with the use of a Scroll of Weapon Upgrade. Q: 1) Is the effect randomly chosen for the weapon? 2) Let's say you got glaive+5, after using Scroll of Wep Upgrade would you get glaive[enchanted]+6?

      p.s.

you guys know the maximum upgrade we can give any equipment? (like +10 or sumthing)

The summary of Scroll of Weapon Upgrade gives you the answers, which are both “yes”. ;)

No maximum, except the number of Scrolls of Upgrade, which, if I understand well the code, is capped:

      • max 3 SoE generated in the first stage (Sewers),
      • max 6 SoE generated in the two first stages (Sewers + Prison): If unluckily only 1 SoE was generated in the Sewers (it can happen), up to 5 SoE could be generated in the Prison as a compensation,
      • max 9 SoE generated in the three first stages,
      • max 12 SoE generated in the four first stages.

There’s still subtleties about Scroll of Upgrade/Potion of Strength generation (2/4/6/8 max for the latter) that I have to study.

      Update: Read here.

    • Yeah basically you upgrade a normal weapon without the risk of disenchantments and then you enchant it.

    • O I C. That should clear some queries.

      thanks! :3
