This is one of the best combos ever because of the following: The stunning knuckleduster stuns the monster, the haste ring allows me to hit more per each turn, and with the stunning I get a ton of turns. The Gladiator lets me hit higher and higher every time.
The way I got to (+7) Stunning knuckleduster is the following:
1.) I got the Weapon pre-+2 from a statue.
2.) Then what I did was, I upgraded it again, taking the risk. I managed to get it to +3.
3.) Then I used my Reforged Short Sword onto it getting it to +4. I got to stage 5 and killed myself with a potion of Flame. Before I died, I took of my cloth armor.
4.) I used the next Short Sword onto the weapon and got it to +5.
5.) I did this once again, and got it to +6. Then after this, I started to upgrade a Ring of Haste because I didn't want to risk losing the weapon to getting coins, or dying before floor 5. I played through with my current setup, easily killing everyone to the mining caves.
6.) There I found a well of transmutation. Instead of throwning in my ring of satiety, to try to get an evasion ring, or another haste ring, I just decided to play it safe and go for the (+7) Knuckleduster.
Overall this run took more strategy and luck than any other, but in the end it payed off. The most difficult enemies to kill were the scorpio's. They were hitting extremely high because my armor was pretty bad, as it was unupgraded. Once I got to them, though, they were dead. The amount of Health potions I had, stayed mostly high the entire time. I barely killed the Eyes, but managed to do it before going to the eye. Probably should have went to the eye though.

(or did you get the enchant from the transmutation well? I don't understand what you did with the well)
He upgraded the stunning duster to +3 took the risk, then used his short sword to upgrade his duster again. Killed himself (the part I don't understand) and used another S.Sword to upgrade once more, and (then I really didnt understand how he got it to +6}. Finally, he found a transmutation well and (you know how to get a scroll of weapon upgrade) upgraded his duster to a "STUNNING!" upgrade of +7!!
If you upgrade a Plate armor and then apply the Armor kit on it, you can die at depth 1 without the level high cap limitation.
It’s how my Flies Killer Sniper transferred her Huntress cloak with 56 damage absorption (based on Plate armor +8) to her Warden daughter (what a legacy!) from the very beginning, without being capped to level 1.
One of my best runs involved a firebolt, preceding with choosing battlemage, putting all upgrade scrolls into the wand then finding a lvl4 plate armour in the tombstone lock room.
By caves I had maxed out my wand and put the remaining upgrade scrolls into my armor, got a glyph stone thingamobob and it gave me multicipity,I nearly cried until I saw TEH INSTAKILLS.later I found my characters truth potential when I found another wand which was regrowth.however...
I died in the worst way possible.not getting rooted by regrowth while burning to death.not being paralysed and having multicipiy proc multiple times.not accidentally teleporting into a locked room via fadeleaf.no, I was casually walking down the dwarven city walkway(as the steps echo though the depth feeling was in place) and the dwarves magefound me but due to the autowalk stupidity I keeped walking while being thrashed by the dwarf...and I died.
I think we can all agree that any build with a ring of haste is op. It's especially good with sniper, though, as it allows her to get a ton of distance and extra damage. I'd be willing to say that it's the best ring in the game, with ring of thorns as a possible second.
My best run was a level 26 Freerunner with Unstable Glaive +2, Rogue Garnet +9 (I don't remember, it was Scale or Plate), Cloak of Shadows +5, Timekeeper's Hourglass +10, Wand of Prismatic Light +1, Wand of Firebolt and Wand of Lightning +2. It was on Shattered Pixel Dungeon. Game beaten!
